I think you have it. They should have given you a PDF of the stamped form 1 or 4 as applicable when they notified you of completion. They don't appear to actually mail a hard copy if you Efiled.

Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I garnered from the chatter.

Doubled checked the email, but no PDF attached. Just a permit/control number and some other info. If I don't see something in a few days, I'll give them a call.

Thanks!

I'm curious about the Efile now too. After its approved, maybe you go to the website and log in to your account and the attacment can be pulled?? Right now when I check in it shows the submitted form under "MY FORMS". Perhaps after completion, the form will automatically be changed to show the stamp when you hit view and pull it up on the screen.

Under "my forms" on the left side of the screen does it still say "submitted/in process" or "completed"?

Tap the blue status bar and then tap the listed form. After your row listing the application appears, can you tap a link under actions? I see an eyeball icon under actions. Then maybe hit "view" form near the top of the screen.

Anybody else know the techie side of this?

Ok some more info.

When you log in the eForm system, you'll see "My Forms". Under this I now have Submitted and Approved. If you click on Approved it shows Form 1. When you click on this, it gives a line of the approved forms. If you click on the line it will go to where it looks like when you first submitted the eform.

BUT - you can see the buttons that say SAVE, CANCEL, VIEW FORM, & GO HOME. If you click on View Form, then a button at the bottom where you can click for the PDF file. Click this and it opens Adobe and then you can print your Form with the stamp.

Hope this helps.

New quicksand for my LR rifle and an AAC for my blackout waiting for some gas...

I called 2 weeks ago and they told me I would not see them until Feb, 14 but I was pleasantly surprised when the LGS called me today and told me to come get my crap out of their safe.

They also told me I have 6 months to file new forms on a trust before the forms will require a LEO signature due to a change in the BATFE policy...

Has anyone else heard anything about that?

The "change" they are referring to is under review and tonight is the last night to make comments opposing the mandatory CLEO signature. Go to regulations.gov and post your comments now! It doesn't surprise me that they are saying that there is already a change coming.

Who exactly told you "6 months" ? Your dealer? This is the FIRST time I've heard
A solid number being spoken of from ANYWHERE in the NFA community about a
Supposed cut off date.

Please enlighten !

The dealer told me they talked to a deputy from the Sheriffs Office that deals with all the BATFE and the class 3 stuff, the info supposedly came from this deputy.

I thought it was a bit odd since the comments were still being taken on the BATFE website making me assume nothing had been decided, but on the other hand, considering all the crap coming out of Obama, I also get the feeling the comments are noting more than a ruse and those in the know- know something more than we do if they are telling gun dealers that trusts ad LLC's applications will only be good for the next 6 months and after that the LEO signature will be required and our Sheriff will not be signing anything...

I am only passing on info I was told, the reason for me asking the forum was to see if anyone else heard anything similar to see if there was any validity to these comments. As you know it is a little difficult to get the real story, especially when you call BTAFE and they tell you that you will have your stamps in February 2014 and they arrive not even 2 weeks later.

I personally feel the Trust and LLC route for owning NFA items will be shut off regardless of the comment effort. We can squeal all we want and there is not a damn thing we can do about it since it really has nothing to do with taking our guns away, it only limits the toys we have been able to get, short barrel rifles and shotguns, pre ban full autos, suppressors, etc... All the things the general public will not have a lot of sympathy over when us gun nuts loose the right to buy them.

I only hope, if this happens, we go get a grace period to buy our last rights before we are relegated to oil filters.

I tell you, all this crap from Obama is REALLY getting old, ALL OF IT. Whatever happened to our right to the pursuit of happiness?

Thanks for the reply.

what i don't get is before the shutdown, you could gauge within 2 weeks of the reports on here of approved F4s from submission to approval. you had a pretty good idea of when you will be getting your form back.

now, it is all over the place. reports are ranging from january to march submissions coming in.

for once in my life i got lucky. i had my sparrow, door to door, in 8 months, feb 4 to oct 4.

i am 8 months one week in on my octane 9.

those with TTF cans approved but no stamps in hand, picking up directly from TTF, have you talked to them yet about whether they have been seeing the stamps arrive?

I have a pending date of Feb 28 and made a call last week. Was told January before I see it. Sucks when I see others pending in March and getting their stamps back already.

I believe ATF is managing expectations. If you are told December and don't get it, you make more calls. If you are told January and it arrives in December, you are happy and don't call.
