How is it looking for the version that is NOT for phones?
Such as a native Windows 7/10 program, and/or Linux program?
Hi,
Patagonia's program Coldbore is Windows.

For desktop use and printing stuff etc. you'd want to pony up for the desktop version of Coldbore. For portable use something like Bluestacks may work to run the Android version provided the device supported virtualization.I was looking for something to run on my desktop as well as on a rugged windows tablet, so that might be worth trying.
I may have to try that out, kind of sucks that you have to buy the expensive license for each device you want to use instead of per user.
Of course I'll be buying Genesis Ballistics as soon as it is out (Android).
Good luck and looking forward to the release.Hi,
So I officially now have the to be released version of Genesis on my phone for final "walk through" testing!!
We will be utilizing it for next weeks ELRSO sanctioned 1 mile match down at 7 FoxTrot in Pearsall Texas.
We will be running Genesis program with factory 300NM ammunition in our T&E rifle.
Sincerely,
Theis
Hi,
Should roll out around $30.

^^^Speaking of money...how much is this going to set me back?
Dont know if this was asked, but how about a rifle/barrel journal so you can keep track of rounds down range, last time cleaned, etc, etc.?
What is your expectation for an official release @THEISHi,

Not a deal breaker for me. I just thought it would be nice to have it all (ballistics solver, rifle journal, etc) all in one handy package.Hi,
Sorry but we are not really interested in that. There are plenty of options for log books and shot journals.
Genesis is designed as a ballistics solver, not a documenting journal.
Sincerely,
Theis
So how did the walk-through go?Hi,

In, waiting patiently.Hi,
Quick rundown chart of Genesis features.

Hi,
Everything is pretty much waiting on Apple and Adroid to approve our developer accounts so the app can be migrated from the testing service to the respective hosting services.
Apple is extremely intrusive as to information required to be submitted to them for review.
So once we have all the paperwork process approved and certified it will be an easy and fast transition to app going live. Until then we are at the mercy of iOS and Android app systems.
O...and both versions will be released at the same time, lolol
Sincerely,
Theis
Go Android go! seriously maybe Google is also a PITA. The good news is we are close to get Genesis on our phones, I'm positive the wait will be over soon.Just curious as to why at the same time? If for instance Apple drags their feet months beyond android or vice versa, just wondering.
Thanks, looking forward to it!
both platforms are probably aiming for Xmas to finalise accounts![]()
2021 or 2022?![]()
Hi @Darek TopylaHi, everyone!
Below Polish version is English in original.
Yes, I am the founder.
It’s already been stated and confirmed that both platforms are to be released at the same time. ETA: they will now be released separately per Theis’s post below. The article was good. I could see Genesis sales going through the roof. Especially with the 22 crowd.
Any guestmate how far behind IOS release will be vs Android?
Hi,
When Google decides to update the app from "In Review" to "Approved" we will be able to take your money on the Android side of the house.
View attachment 7605179
Once that side of the house is officially launched the iOS side will be slightly behind it. Upon several meetings it has been determined to roll them out individually so that we can better track and more importantly RESPOND/REPAIR any issues.
Launching both systems at the same time would just slow that process down for us.
Sincerely,
Theis
If I buy do we get $35 off on a Kopis? Lolgood luck and I'm a fan already
