Bless you manA lot of us stay and fight the good fight. CA was a red state in my youth. I blame all the p*ssies who up and left, for handing the state to the FN Leftists without a battle. Nobody ever won a fight by fleeing. If CA could turn red again, it would save the nation's future. But the Left has PURCHASED the vote by giving the lion's share of the state budget to teachers (who do a sh*t job here) and until that is corrected, it'll take a miracle to flip the state again. Been this way for far too long now.

I fly the colors on my home 24/7 (properly lit at night) and ride with the Patriot Guard...this the flags on the bike.
What exactly do you do?When she's pissed she has a little Beth in her but mostly she works (like I do) to build a retirement that is not going to leave us (or our kids/grandkids) wanting. Fortunately we both love what we do so it doesn't always "feel" like work.
He's an importer/exporter...mostly on the import side. You know, a middle-man, a supplier. What exactly do you do?
I need to learn how to get into this! He's an importer/exporter...mostly on the import side. You know, a middle-man, a supplier.![]()
Jesus Christ OP,
Is your wife single?!
Damn, the FAA shut down the track at the Mojave airport where I was gonna get her up to over 200mph. Can't find anyplace legal to do this. Can't do it on an empty highway, might lose my CCW permit. Won't risk that. Is there anywhere with a long straightaway where people can do this legally in the U.S.? Anyone know? At 200+ you're going a football field length per second. I wanna go FAST!
Why can't we have an emoji for envy? I would love to have that car. Well, I say that but then there is the maintenance, etcetera. A car light that you don't get serviced down at Gary's Alignment, as good as he may be.Okay, this is funny so I wanna share it.
I never would have purchased this car for myself, would be too self-serving in my mind. The fact my better half secured it was nothing less than stunning. Her middle name is Vivian and the hooker in PRETTY WOMAN talking about the car "cornering like it's on rails" is named Vivian...so I named the Bentley Vivian.
The missus comes home from work after a long day last night, sets her purse, laptop and stuff on the table, looks at me with a serious expression and asks, "I see your girlfriend is wearing yoga pants now. How many times were you inside Vivian today?"
I reply, "Only once but I filled her up." We both laugh.

How my wife can come home after a 13hr day and clown around like this is beyond me. I am unworthy. Lucky, but unworthy.
Bonneville Flats?
Yes, looking at tyre ratings is a bit scary if you are planning on going that fast. But what can happen to them in real life when you do that is a whole different story. Tires in particular can be kind of iffy.
Do not take anything to Bonneville. Not if you don’t wanna have to take it apart to the last nut and bolt to take salt out of it after visiting and running on the flats.
That car would be scrap after five minutes on the salt flats.
There is a road east of Vegas known as the loneliest road in America. I’m pretty sure there are stretches there where you could see far enough to recognize a police car. And get it up to 200 for a short sprint. Just to say you’ve done it.
That said talk to a couple of Service techs about it. And make sure you do it when the weather is cool or cold. Because you can do crazy speeds in those cars at least they can on test tracks. But what can happen to them in real life when you do that is a whole different story. Tires in particular can be kind of iffy.
I had mine up to 165 with a LOT more pedal and RPM on tap… and it was like being on rails. But just did it the one time
But there’s a big difference between 165 and 200+.
Cheers.!

I gotta better gift. My wife told me to retire today. She’s a keeper for sureThanks. I wish I had more free time for PGR missions, maybe when I retire. I get a lot from those events. Forces ya to appreciate things.
Oh I know. Researched a few spots like this and definitely want pavement. At least 3 miles of it. Don't wanna be this guy.Do not take anything to Bonneville. Not if you don’t wanna have to take it apart to the last nut and bolt to take salt out of it after visiting and running on the flats.

Big Bend Open Road Race. 60 miles, two ways, fast as you can and still stay on the road. Corvettes usually dominate. Look it up. Speed and Handling. This weekend: https://www.theusmileracing.com/
And this one’s a bit closer for you in SoCal; runs May and September pretty much every year: https://www.sscc.us/event_description.aspx
Never envy a large installment loan...you don't want the monthly payments, maintenance or high insurance premiums. She drinks a gallon of gas when I start her. LOLI am about to be in a fowl mood all day until my wife buys me a Bentley.
