I've read Jocko's book and listened to him speak a lot, he has a great set of skills and expertise. Extreme Ownership is a very valuable lesson to use in the business world.
what Jocko may not understand is in a president, we arent going to get a good "leader". Good leaders don't want that job and don't want to do it. Great leaders are not narcisistic egomaniacs and that's what you have to be to run for President of the United States.
That being said, I'm under no illusions as to what Trump is and was as President. Great leader? doubtful and debatable. A great President whose done more for this country than most of his predecessors? Yes.
