I'd like to see what you guys use.
My best load so far.
Savage Target Action T&T by SSS
SSS LTV stock, glass bedded.
24" Mcgowen Bull taper 1:8 twist
Lapua Brass about .002 neck tension
Wolf small rifle magnum primers
107 SMK's OAL of 2.330" .015" jump
30.7gr Varget
est. 2880 fps from drop numbers to 600yards.
Still working on the load but gives consistant .3xx" groups at 100. Im gonna go out this weekend and throw some over the chrony to get some ES and SD numbers.
My fireform load was 30.4gr Varget with all the rest the same.
This load also gave me consistant .3xx" groups at 100.
I suspect the rifle can shoot better, but the nut behind the butt is loose. =P
I use this rifle for mid-range F-Open to 600 yards.
Please share what you use for this application or farther.
