....gotten longer!!! Spoke with a CS Rep at NF this afternoon, and was told the talk around there is that civilian orders won't probably be shipping until June. They are busy filling Military orders. While I completely understand this, it's still disappointing! I have been waiting since March, but will continue to wait. I hope it's worth it!!!

Which Rep told you that? Because I don't even believe that at this point. Its been 3months, then another 3 months, than another month.....now another 6? That sucks fucking blows using it for this rifle season completely out the door.
Sounds like they put the cart before the horse and sold aot of products they don't have and won't have anytime soon. I've never understood this business practice. They should give you a partial refund for every day that has past since they originally told you they would be available. (If they did give a date) there should be some accountability. Just my opinion
I feel your pain poison. However, professionalism doesn't allow me to use names. I also don't believe in shooting the messenger. It's nice to get an honest answer to the question. I'm just happy to know that I need to start rearranging scopes to be ready for the upcoming season. Pissing and moaning about not having it isn't going to get it here any faster.
I probably know who your talking about. But here's the problem.....when I've talked to the reps they all been honest answers on what they've been told. So with the trend...we'll be lucky to get it by Dec. Honestly the scope is worthless to my match rifle if I didn't get it by Feb 1st, I'm sure as shit not pulling a Bender off my match rifle in the middle of the PRS Season this year. I'm trying to limit my stupid ideas this year.

My sources tell me that Bender will introduce a new scope at Shot Show 2014 in two weeks called the A.E.A.S.T

That is the plan, but plans can change based on external factors. I would really like to provide a definitive answer. Everytime we have released delivery dates, they were meant to be 100% truthful, not an exaggeration to buy time.
Frank has been kept in the loop along the way and has been very privvy to what has taken place from the inception of the BEAST several years ago.
We apologize to all for such delays. It was truly never our intent to release a product and not deliver on it as promised. We are very very near getting our tier one FFP riflescope to the market.
The delays were never a result of a flawed design, but rather a tedious process to allow repeatable consistent quality results.
Good on NF for wanting to wait to get it right rather than rushing a sub-standard product to market to appease some antsy customers. The long term damage to a company for an inferior product reputation will far outlast delays in shipments or being released on the market.
Having said that, it is one of the reasons I personally am not one of those folks who have to be the 1st kid on the block with the latest and greatest and be first in line to get on a waiting list when something gets announced. I'd rather have it hit the market, get reviewed, see how it performs, and see if its "all that". I get that any issues with anything from NF are unlikely, and as LL said, NF won't release it if its not perfect. But sometimes shit happens and you don't always know what you don't know.
I hope it hits the market soon and gets some good hands on reviews and impressions. I just picked up a Steiner Military 5-25x with the MSR reticle. But I'm tempted to get in line to pick up a BEAST as well if initial impressions are good. I don't "need" it, but if its as good as its supposed to be, it wouldn't be bad to have that in my hip pocket. It will force me to find a new project gun to put it on.

As far as S&B coming to SHOT with an actual product for sale, it must be the 3 year delayed 1-8x, where people paid for those too, maybe just not this specific person.
I get it, it's frustrating, but running around with your head cut off listening to anyone out there doesn't help.
