Yes, I did. They were unclear if the shooter died at his own hands or killed by PD. The African American shooter had a mug shot from 2009 and the old couple was white. The mug shot certainly suggests he was no angel, so it’s possible he was in jail and released for covid. Did you have a point?

I believe what @broncoaz means is, was the shooter released from prison due to COVID before he decided to murder a pair of old folks. And as he just mentioned (sorry I was typing this right when you posted, bronco), the apparent mugshot is 10-11 years old.

1. It mentions that Francis was "wearing tactical armor and carrying multiple weapons". Now, you don't need that just to execute a pair of old folks. And since he seems to have gotten into a big damn shootout with the police, I expect this was something more than just a plain murder. Looks to me like he expected it to become a big deal, wanted there to be media attention after the fact, and probably be seen as some kind of avenging martyr.

2. Social media posts from Sheldon suggest that he was particularly troubled by the killing of Ahmaud Arbery. And authorities are now exploring whether the cemetery shooting may have been racially motivated. So there's social media posts, are there? Any evidence to support this? Or have they been conveniently deleted now?

Report I read said that it was a head shot and they didn't know if it was self inflicted or shot by police.
