Ian Miles Cheong is the son of a Singaporean Chinese businessman and an Irish woman, born in Singapore and raised in Malaysia, I believe. And as the operator of an international freelance journalism organization, he has people covering a lot of events here in the US, especially during the ANTIFA riots of 2020. Proof that America is not just a country. It is an idea, and a source of inspiration. It will NEVER be crushed. A hardcore colonial and Old West version may just be around the corner from suddenly popping up in a place racked by strife and conflict, like a frontier region of lockdown-plagued China, or Hong Kong. The sudden appearance of US flags and Constitutional slogans among the protestors during the Hong Kong conflict in 2019 was another example. Hong Kong cops used live ammo in late November, killing 2 protestors and injuring 12. Demonstrators returned fire with broadhead tipped arrows and killed one HK cop and pinned another one to a utility pole by the thigh where he squealed for almost an hour before being pulled back by his comrades. Too bad that was a field point and didn't smash the femoral artery. And then, totally by coincidence, COVID-19 broke out in Wuhan two weeks later, right? LOL.

We had a pretty epic thread here covering Hong Kong at that time and then suddenly everything became coronavirus oriented right after that.

Most definitely. The whole wet market bat soup thing, while these potentially hazardous culinary practices do exist, was not the cause of this shit. After the exchange of bullets and arrows at HK Polytech University where the HKPD retreated in chaos and called for PLA assistance, the Polytech group of fighters were photographed bringing satchels of more arrows and gasoline bombs to the roof and windows converted into firing ports and the leader of that group had said to the BBC interviewer that they are going to "kill every PLA soldier that tries to funnel between the buildings of the campus" surrounding that street. The Hong Kong situation was gathering to become a full on boogaloo. AND THEN A WEEK LATER, coronavirus breaks out in Wuhan, complete with crisis actors filmed vomiting blood on buses, vomiting and shitting blood in the streets, collapsing dead, coughing and flailing like zombies with blood soaked clothes. Fucking scared the shit out of all of us too. We legit thought some mutated airborne zombie Ebola had arrived. Fucking pieces of absolute shit and the misery they brought on to the world since then.
