So with weapons charges dropped that leaves murder which certainly did not happen.

Jonathan Turley wrote a good piece on why the weapons charge should be dropped, I guess the Judge paid attention.
I think it's worse than Joe being a pussy; I am left wondering if that is borderline criminal? He is almost certainly civilly liable.
Think about the people that actually watch and believe him. He is supposedly a vaunted "journalist" for a "major news network." The actual facts and trial have been ongoing for over a week, and after that period of time, he is relaying to his audience, presumably what "we" have learned: "Kyle is a self-appointed militia member, wantonly spraying 60 rounds into the crowd." If and when a jury, that has reviewed the actual facts, decides that the 8 bullets he fired, and stopped the 4 attackers (missing one, killing 2, injuring 1), that really happened, he is not guilty, those people that are watching/listening to Joe, will be outraged, "that our justice system allows crazy militia to randomly shoot 60 rounds into crowds of protestors and kill them!" They would be justifiably outraged and upset if that were actually true. So they riot in Kenosha, outraged at the injustice they think occurred.
I would hope that everyone that is possibly injured and/or has property damaged in any subsequent riots after a "not guilty" verdict, at the very least, would be able to sue Joe for any damage caused by this gross mischaracterization, because the only plausible reason Joe said such a thing was to blatantly draw the ire and rage among his audience when it looked like the facts greatly supported a not guilty verdict at this point, and he assuredly knows it, so he lied to everyone in order to stoke a reaction at the pending verdict he probably knows is coming. I would hope that such an argument could be made and hundreds of suits could be filed.
