Garmin’s chrono is already the dominant product in that space. Gen 2 is probably coming in the near future, but I can understand why it might not be a priority for them.

My bet is on ultrasonic BT anemometer. Garmin already has experience with them, but for sailing. Just need to repackage

That’s the 338, right?

The 30 cal can is 8” long and weighs just under 11oz.

But it’s also an aluminum monocore with an aluminum tube, and has an MSRP of $800!!

I think they may all be aluminum monocores, including that 18.5oz 338 can. Which is why they’re limited to 1 shot per second for a maximum of 20 shots.

OOF. Aluminum monocores (besides the titanium aluminum alloy on the 338 can). 1 shot per second up to 20 seconds and then have it cool down.

It would be one thing if they were lighter than any other option, or cheaper than any other option, while being meaningfully better in other ways. That is not the case to me.

The user serviceability is alright but the MSRPs are about $200 too much for each one and honestly the legality of suppressor parts individually kind of defeats that outside of detailed cleaning.
