Not very good with the Goodle Earth...I will try to get it to work....
It would be best to hike the logging road and shoot at where my truck was at.
BW.....dude....you want the ELR....get to hiking!!! But either way packing the steel or packing that 32" truck axel!!!
There is a spot on Dry Hill that could get pretty close to 2k....if you had a quad or bike it would be really easy access.

Well, now that I have my Tac-Ops Drag bag, I'm up for "some" hiking. If we can get the steel up by truck, or quad, That would be cool.

good thing about the "truck axle" is i can just throw it up on my shoulder like im carrying a 2x4 hardly know its there.so what you are saying is the best option is to have the targets where the pic was taken and shoot where the dots are? am i close to what you are saying my mind ain't working yet, my dam son keep waking up at the butt crack of dawn and coming into my room and asking to watch tom and jerry. ahhhh i have created a monster...

I like how everyone is into the idea of a hike and shoot until it requires hauling a 1000lbs of steal. hahaha.
That spot looks pretty good, however, I still like the other spot though, since we can setup the targets easier which means more steal out there to try and hit. Any ways im looking forward to the 6th.

I need to know too. I still have to make reservations on the ferry, & then set up a time, & place to meet up, or get directions to the spot.

As far as the 5th I am out of work at 1200...probably able to hit the trail around 1300. If you want I can PM you my address and link up before we go out...if you need to SSS or the likes.
BW knows the spot. We are going for the normal spot and mainly checking out the other spot in the pictures....we can get that spot figured out if we want but it was mainly just a backup spot but that area will be easier to strech the "unobtanium" bullets.....Josh I think I am going to name your Cheytac "Avatar"...seeing as they were mining for unobtanium!!!!

Be preparred for shitty weather and camping. As far as RSO I am thinking of bringing a guy I know that has 3 fingers on each hand....left has thumb,index and pinkie...but he knows explosives!!!!

Ya I have your number DS. I think we should have at least one or two people up at the spot to ensure we dont wake up sat and already have someone up there. Im sure it wont be nearly as busy as it was when we were there last summer though.

We should be alright!!
Top left is the "hiker", the 1/8" plate that Rotor wired up last time....some cable/chain and some trap staples should hang it nicely!
Also today built the new 1111 yard rack...holds 3-4 swingers.

Finally have my loading bench completed. Just have to screw it to the wall and varnish it this week and then load some rounds up for the 6th.

4-17-10. 2-man team all steel match. Carbine/ rifle.
Known distance for most, will have to use your reticle for a couple of targets. 100 rounds carbine, 60 rounds rifle.
Night shoot will be individual precision rifle, $ to enter, winner take all $. Dinner will be provided as part of entry fee.

Joe, I have an AR15 you could borrow too(you supply ammo, .223 is pretty reasonable), just open sights on it. not sure exactly what they are expacting but it would probably work fine.
