I'm looking for a lightweight, yet durable, daylight bright illuminated LPVO that doesn't break the bank (yes, I know, an impossible list of wants).
I have a Trijicon Accupower 1-8x28mm that is fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate recommending it, but it is a tad heavy for a hunting rifle, thus the Accupower sits on a different setup altogether. Hence my interest was piqued by the Steiner P4Xi 1-4x24. While it is definitely not cutting edge in terms of max magnification as far as newer generation LPVOs go, it seems like it has a lot going for it on paper and based on some of the reviews and vids I've seen showing its reticle etc.
I am curious if other Hide members have experience with it, do or do not recommend it, why/why not, other options in its class/category, etc.
