Hey mate, I haven't seen that product before, but now you have my interest! I might have to see if I can find something similar over here, but no, I was going to stipple the grip areas myself as the moulded grip panels are a bit on the smooth side.

I wish they made those for CTR mags.

The MDT oryx is also a good buy. That will be my next upgrade. Looking forward to it.

Are there and smiths/ shops that specialize in Tikka's ? I've got a TAC 1 in 308 that is going to get one last chance at the range then it's either a "gun show" table , or a Bbl. replacement with a 260 bbl. that came with the rifle when I bought it.

Hi Paige,

can you tell me if the MDT polymer mags are thicker in width than the metal ones? If they would be a bit wider, they would sit a bit fitter and would be harder to lose. For matches and Long Range the metal ones are just perfect.

Question: Does anyone have experience with the 6.5cm 24" fluted Tikka barrels. The regular factory barrels shoot amazing, I wonder if there is any difference in witnessed accuracy, fluted vs non fluted?

Not a Tikka barrel, but they come from the same place. 24" fluted 6.5cm, it shoots really good.

They’re the exact same.

Side note: My wife whacked this cow at 510y with my CTR 6.5cm. 143eld-x. Pretty proud of her. I’ve never personally shot an elk.
