If the first statement is true, the only way the second is true is if Vista acquires a majority of sharesI did learn that Vista is spinning off Revelyst into a standalone public company.
I imagine Vista will still control Revelst somehow.

Vista/Revelyst bought Simms ?
Shit.![]()
I got food poisoning last summer and received a bill for $28,000 for my 3 hour hospital stay.greed
Got food poisoning, bad. Damn near killed me; spent 4 days in hospital intensive care.
Bill $28.000.
Demanded explanation of every penny.
Saw something on there to the effect of "daily prophylactic" @ 100 dollars per day total $400.00.
Nobody will tell me what this charge is for so I get 'em on the phone and demand they explain what this is for.
Answer----------$100.00 per day for having a box of Kleenex in my room.
She took it off my bill.
I'm middle class and proud of it, and now retired, $400.00 is a lot of groceries and gas.
I don't have a problem paying the deductable on $27,600 to the folks who got me back on my feet, but that doesn't excuse BS.
Daggum, my HDMR and DMR3 better not shit the bed then! If this means warranty will go away too...
The 2.5-10 is only 21.5oz, 12.5" and a MAP of $1200.Counter-argument...is Leupold Mk 4 series...that just (re)launched.
As a middle manager I am offended.
I literally conducted interviews like this last week...
Resurrecting an old thread.
My old .22 scope died, called Bushnell and was asking for an RMA number, the person answering the phone sounded quite dejected, he just told me to return it with my personal information and write LAB as there was hardly anyone left.
I hope they come back. My first scope was a Bushnell, I remember using a Bushnell microscope in school and later on in industry.
Surprised that Stone Glacier is owned by them too. Yuk.
Both local companies here. I remember when Stone Glacier started, they were in a little space next to a gym. They are generally good guys, some of them here have gotten heavily involved in the local shooting scene. Unfortunately, they are really big social media/instagram type dudes and have undoubtedly contributed to many a competition filling up really fast with their continuous self promotion. That is just the name of the game these days and probably contributed to their rapid growth in the backpack/outdoor space.Vista/Revelyst bought Simms ?
It’ll be interesting to see who’s right here: George, who says Bushy and their associated Elite optics aren’t going anywhere, or Doug, who says the rumor mill suggests only a “golf” division will remain.
The answer could be 'both' honestly - Vista/Revelyst sells off all of the shooting/hunting related Bushnell product lines to a new parent company (leaving only Golf under Vista/Revelyst, making Dough right), but the new parent of the shooting/hunting side continues on with the ET and other product lines under the new umbrella (making George right).
It makes no sense for Revelyst to just shut it all down when they could sell it off to a different investor/holding company for a quick buck.
Disclaimer: I know jack and shit about what's going on over there, all of my contacts are long gone. This is just my personal speculation as an outsider looking in.
Yeah, that was basically my option three. Just depends on how they want to do it, but that’s the option I’m hoping for.
Given Vista's history of selling off brands when they're done with it, I think that should be option #1 on your list.

I do not know the current status of Bushnell, though I’m also interested to know. I do have a few of their top line scopes though and have never had an issue with them. They are built solidly and keep doing what they were designed to do.This thread needs some viagra![]()
Any updates on bushnell lately? I just purchased a dmr3 in the classifieds and was curious about their business status and if I possibly f***ed up lol

If the ever need warranty work, I’ll find out I guess. I’ve had and used a couple of them for well over ten years.
