Thinking about ordering a V22 barreled action from Mile High Shooting. Anyone know which of the many barrel makers barrels are on the guns at Mile High? For that matter, how does one order a V-22 and specify a barrel preference?
If you buy from Mile High, and want one quick, you take what they've got in stock. If that doesn't suit your tastes, then your option is to check with other shops that keep V-22s in stock to see what they've got on hand. If you don't find what you're looking for, just call VGW and place an order direct with them to be delivered to the ffl of your choice. I don't know that there's any difference between the accuracy you'll get out of an ACE bbl vs a Bartlein one. I've had both on bbl'd actions, as well as a Krieger on my first V-22 action that I did the bbl work on myself, and all three of them were equally accurate. I've gone with 22" bbls on all three of my V-22s, and the last time I talked with Paul & Jay, ACE wasn't making blanks long enough to finish at 22", so I asked for & received a 22" Bartlein Kukri.
The ACE I have is 18" long in Ranch contour, the lightest one VGW supplies. It shot great - right up there with the heavier Bartlein & Krieger. I swapped it out for a slightly heavier Krieger #4 sporter simply because I didn't care for the fact that the Ranch balanced too far to the rear of the rifle to suit my preference. That added a pound to the weight (from 8.75lbs to 9.75lbs), but put the balance point right at the front of the DBM.

I ‘ve forgot my bolt more than once.Anyone else ever forget their mags at home? I got to the range yesterday for a local benchrest match 45 minutes away and had forgotten to put them back in my range box after checking on my ammo supply. There was only one other Vudoo there and he has a single shot adapter installed in his, so no mags to be had. Luckily it was all br shooting and I was able to hand load them. Definitely a pain in the ass though, trying to load greasy center x by hand. Just in a case I pull this again, I put a mag in my glovebox.
Just threw my 20" kukri into my 2018 mpa ba chassis ... The action screws that came with the vudoo were too long but the action screws that came with the MPA SA chassis worked perfectly on the video/ mpa comboOne last question. This should fit in the MPA remington Short Action correct.
Yep, that should do it. Probably never touch that cz again. Finally can place an order for a "Team Vudoo" shirt without being a tool!!

Feels so damn good, if I had to be an entitled bitch, I'd say a 60 degree bolt throw would be great for the clearance on optics and to match some custom actions. Customer service is fantastic. Wish I could pick their brain all day, there's some geniuses over there.
Thank you all so much. Everyone at Vudoo and everyone here that convinced me to finally pick one up.

I would avoid carbon altogether but if you do use the carbon arrow, I would only push on the base of the bullet assuming its a flat base bullet. I think there are plenty of old members who remember when a person using a carbon cleaning rod to push a bullet out from the muzzle end and it splintered radially and wedged itself between the bullet and the barrel taking it from stuck to super fucking stuck. They ended up putting a pipe fitting on the muzzle threads and uses hydraulics/pneumatic to force it out.
Use a steel cleaning rid or a wooden dowel.
Years?

Does this mean what I think it means??
Only as it applies to how long it takes us to do something if I decide to develop it and we decide to offer it. It wouldn't be years ....

Well when that happens, count me in for 2, 1 lefty, and 1 righty
I’m in too. I need that sweet 60 degree bolt throw to match my AI!Awesome! I'll start a list....

I was talking to MB earlier, but figured I better cast my vote for short throw here publicly since that's what we're doin'.
Understood. I was just trying to show my excitement at the possibility of a 60° Vudoo, I definitely don't want to contribute to anyone NOT ordering from you now because of a couple comments on the Hide. Just shot my buddy's V22 in an AX chassis at 285 yds and I've got the bug now...The 60* thing has already gotten outta hand....The question I was asked was, "how many years," my point was, as stated above, if we do it, it won't take years.

Well in that case, put me down for a swept bolt handle with round knob, to fully completely my "mini" AI (in LH of course!)I get it Samb300, fortunately, there's a lot of excitement these days and I use it to gauge where we are and what we should be doing for guys/gals in this community. We listen closely and act quickly....keep it coming....
