Amen!
Put a new motor in momma’s 2007 Escape Hybrid to give to a gal we know.
Started first crank and runs great. Now the computer will give me an error code after I went through it with a comb and replaced a few parts that could have been causing it.

Old school and I woulda been done a while ago......

Anyone with ideas why at times (2x since all together with new intake valve and hose) I get a code for too lean and most of the time with normal and heavy footed driving it runs fine without issue I am happy to listen.
Trying to wring it out so the gal has no issues.

MAF got damaged??

The last job I had before retiring was building Reman compressors and generators. Old school. A engine and a fuel tank. The only thing it needed to know was engine temp and does it have oil pressure. They can't

build them fast enough.

Dirty MAF was my first thought, but damaged could do the same.
Clean it really well, make sure it's completely dry and see what happens.

Check to see if any your connections between the maf and the intake are incorrectly installed causing it to suck in more air.

While you have things apart go ahead and clean the throttle body.

We have the old 855 powered plant still at home and our little 150kw is powered by a 6bt. We used to carry everything thing they would ever need to be fix except extra cylinder sleeves ?

Bored and not being able to shoot LR for a month now, I gave the SH 100 yard challenge a crack this morning before it got too hot. If you guys are familiar with or have played the dice game Yahtzee, you have to make the top because the bottom won’t save you. 100 yard challenge is similar. You have to shoot the top portion well to score high, I didn’t ?. Incentive to work on some rusty bench skills and knock the cobwebs off.

Thanks. Our little slice of Hell has one thing going for it...shooting. If you’re ever up this way, come on over. From October to June there’s steel all over the place out to 1100 yards or so. I beleive the locals don’t notice it or think they’re reality signs ?

Ever had it with yellowjackets ? Ask me how I know.......;)
Got called out on an EMS run for a guy stung in the tongue, little bugger crawled into his soda can. That was an occluded airway. He got the full anaphylactic treatment.

We were flying remote control airplanes at our flying field when a friend sat down the coke he was drinking to take a turn flying. When he returned he took a drink and got hit in the back of the throat. I was shocked at how fast he went bad if not for a paramedic member who happened to be onsite flying that day I think he would have died on the field.

Zach Brown has done a lot of good with his fortune. I have been honored to work with his Southern Grounds organization and I think he sets a high standard for those in the entertainment industry to give back. He has gotten into the knife and wine business also, and done pretty well at both.

Gotta share the pizza bones...

Red has that look on his face like just give it up already? I will never be without a dog in this life by choice?

We landed about 30-35 between the 3 kids. All 12-16” long (momma measured, I said 2 feet easy......?). All Rainbows. Also had a few pop the line (4 lb test with 8 lb leaders).
Need to learn more about CO fishing, always did my fishin in AK and farm ponds in IA.
Need to email our awesome member a tad south for advice, just been stupid busy.

Kids had a blast and we kept 2 to eat.

Nothing better than the look on a kids face when they catch a nice one? Looks like you had a good day and some nice fish to top it off?

That’s a great day. Kids outside fishing. Good for you ??

Had the opportunity to work with the kids this afternoon with handgun fundamentals. My daughter is 16 and does real fine. My son is 13 and small for his age, he doesn’t have the physical strength yet to have a proper stance and form. Has to drop his elbows to keep the gun in close to support it. We keep the sessions short and fun. They enjoy it.

Here’s the front yard looking out from the house, with some included candy. It’s a shame, because as Charlotte has grown, it has taken us in. We live inside the city limits, but still have horses cows and goats. Wish the goats were from Pontiac, but maybe one day. Used to have a 300 yard range at the house, but being in the city has taken care of that. Overall it could be worse.
