Give me a break 1J ! I need all the help I can get It is tree lined from on the left all the way, buts its open on the right from about 400 yards in.
Going to dinner with some friends and hope to be sleeping by 10!

The booze was a joke... driving in the snow an ice is what I do. I’ve driven professionally in the winter since I was 21.

I dont mind crap roads myself. Was just remembering and telling some stories about sliding an ambulance around some I-70 curves west of town in my youth. Broke loose and better to steer into than hit the brakes..... scary when its a 45k lb fire engine though!

The missus was right, no drink on holiday shity roads.
It's not you but the snowflake in the other car that jumps the curb and hits you.
They will walk as le takes the most expedient rout to close out the paperwork.

Yes, just a single day trek during trip to Patagonia region with the fam. 16 miles in & out, kids scampered up & down but my old legs were cooked. Torres del Paine NP - incredibly rugged & wild terrain, mellow locals.
HNY ‘19 Hide - appreciate all the knowledge (shooting & otherwise) bestowed upon me by the members here this last year.

Shot a little group/score tournament today. Jamie cleaned and did stuff around the house. She’s at spin class and I’ll have dinner ready when she gets home.
Back side of Roosevelt Lake up to Young AZ. Off the beaten path.......the way I like it. ? Young is approximately in between Payson and Sholo. Had an awesome weekend just hanging out with the bride and of course my furry friends. Knocking on 12” of snow while I was up there. Word on the street was there was snow in Scottsdale. Doesn’t happen often but does now and again.?
We saw the tower on tv down here a few days ago, we will be in the area in a few weeks, is it worth visiting?
The one in Vegas is taller I believe. Also there are rides at the top of the one in Vegas that will make you shit your pants.
We are actually staying at the Stratosphere in Vegas from 12-15 Feb. Will be showing the grand kids the rides.
That’s brutal, and makes for a long pull home.
Figured I start the day by “ringing” in the new year properly...
Finished the day with a 5 hour Monopoly game and tons of college football, good eats, etc...

Just picked this up last night from Cabela's. Been hoping these for awhile and it was on sale for $797.97. Best price I can recall finding just about anywhere. Temp scope and mount just to try it out. Not sure what direction I'm going to go optics wise.
Nice! After trying a Leupold 2x7 and Vortex Sparq on my mostly Ruger TD (same Magpul Backpacker stock) I settled on Burris FF III w/ADM qd mount to keep things small & light - easily fits in the bag too. Got a Gemtech Mist-22TD from a ‘Hide member coming - should be outta jail soon.
FWIW also have a (non-TD) Tacsol w/Axiom can - very accurate so went with the Leupold 2-7 rimfire for a little more range than a red dot on that setup. .22 suppressed = F-U-N
I really do like shooting .22. Much more than I ever imagined I would. I also have a speed loader. Hope I can find one for these mags.
This is currently my thinking as well. 1. Why the Burris vs. any other brand of reflex site? 2. How's the return to zero? 2b. How did you mount it? I'm assuming the Picatinny rail since you said the ADM but Magpul has a pic mount the wraps around the barrel.

I guess it depends on what you want out of it, this time of year theres not much happening at the center unless you wanna take pics of a weird/semi cool looking "structure"...i have heard the restaurant is spectacular especially since they just put in a glass floor. Also there is the MoPop museum right next to the needle which IMO is really cool and the building looks like a piece of psychedelic dog poop. I pretty much just stick to the south side of the city and if you want any recommendations on good drinking establishments, just let me know and I'll be happy to buy you and your ole lady a couple of rounds.
Decide how much money your willing to loose before you get there.......and stick to the plan???
