Maggie’s What's Your View II

I’m sure nearly all of you here are old enough to remember 3 Mile Island. From 18,000 feet today while descending for Philly. Reactor 1 still running right along.

So, I cheated and ran the wiring on top of the ground just to be able to install the fountain today. This also allows me to dig, bury, and backfill at the same time. The trench digging has gotten much easier thanks to Geno's suggestion. I bought a 4" trenching shovel this morning, thanks again Geno. I plan to add an aerator next year as well.

Spend 12 hours in the beating sun, 6 days a week for over a 18 years. You’ll use an umbrella. Unless you’re an idiot. I’m actually giving a break on the tilt when I took that pic. The guy that runs that ride for me has been a carnie for over 25 years. He’s no idiot.

Guys on here turned me on to the high torque battery impact gun. Least I can do is share tool info that’s helped me along too?

I just shared this one with a buddy in the trucking business.
Is this what you got?

Nice! No, I have the Dewalt in 1/2” and run adapters for 3/4” stuff. 1250 ft/lb or torque. It’ll break loose just about any lugnut that doesn’t require a torch to remove. It’s smallee and a little easier to use on normal stuff too

Heard those sandhill cranes are tasty?

I have determined that the snake is a harmless headless variety, carry on.
Talking to a ranger one time at the bar. I had just gotten back from a hunt in South Dakota and we were talking about the cranes. They’re legal to hunt in SD but in WI they are protected. He said, I wonder that they taste like. I look at him, stone serious and say, tastes a lot like bald eagle.

He almost shit a brick! ?

LMAO Tap dancing on a land mine there Geno.

Well shit, first mower stuck this year, can’t get it out with my service truck so have to shut highway down and use a loaded dump truck to get it out. Pics make it look not that bad but if he would have kept going he would have ended up in the bay.

Was noticing the nice manicured shoulders on the way in today. Seen our Buddy here parked his Deere out by Bay Center.

For the last 3 days...
blew my knee out crossing a fence and my foot got caught in th top wire.
Met with the orthopedic today. Not a bad blowout, no surgery required. Just keep it straight for 6 weeks and don’t put any weight on it for 6 weeks.
Acute Tibia Plateau Fracture is its name.

This is where we’re at this week. Tried to upload a panoramic shot but it says it’s too big. Nice park with pretty decent people. I’m half way up the rock o Plane again. This time trimming branches

On a side note: due to an extra week in June, I’ll be home all week starting Monday. Firing up the smoker most days, working a little at the shop and shooting every chance I get.
