Maggie’s What's Your View II

And word on the street says don’t use step function #213 with a hitch in the receiver. I’ve already witnessed the aftermath of one. Floor mats weren’t even dirty yet. I’m guessing that’s a several thousand dollar tailgate. New and modern disappointments.

What good is a truck without a trailer hitch?

Group therapy yesterday.

Looks darn cold @tnichols!

My folks had 1F the other day. Spoke to my dad in the AM and his plan was to stay inside. Retirement is good he said.......

We are slated for 60-80 mph wind gusts here on the west side of town and the foothills by Denver today. Had planned to removed Christmas lights, will probably wait. Ladders and that wind do not make me happy.

Y'all take care and be safe.

It was -10 here Thursday night. Started snowing last night about 6 and hasn’t stopped. We have probably 4-5” so far. The wind will be in the 30s this afternoon/evening they say.
Yuck............

Snoqualmie and Stevens pass(es) (east of Seattle) had over 85 inches of new snow since last Monday. Both were shutdown for multiple days. I assume they're back open, but don't know as we're out of town.

We're getting the same stuff as you and Tnicols, far NW tip of the system. Not as much snow, just lots of wind and cold. Did a little decorating in the new still unfinished reloading center.

Should be able to start moving snow later today.

You were in Palm Springs Dude............:ROFLMAO:
Only for one night... ;-)

And I think it was Red Shirt week.

Good lord! Carmen Miranda’s Hat has fewer fruits! Left before dawn, so I didn’t find myself pinned to an Apple executive named Chip.

Like the sign for the reloading room. I would guess we got 4-6”, but the wind put it in drifts of course. Moved it this morning before it takes a set as temp drops.

Got a new scar! Biliary duct/pancreatic duct bypass. After 17 stents since 2008 were installed, a doctor from the University of Minnesota said he pioneered the bypass and I was a perfect candidate.
6 hour operation cutting through scar tissue from first time of being opened up from gangrene infected gall stone( perpendicular scars were rubber band type sutures? To close me up).
16 days in the hospital over Xmas and New Years. I’m 5 weeks past surgery and just starting to get my strength and appetite back. All seems pretty dang good!
I gotta quit dragging my wife through this shit.

Tell everyone it was a shark attack and you will be golden! Think of the stories you can tell... “Me and Quint, ya see...”

You could also stop up at that office supply place and see if they are hiring. You would be a awesome mascot for Staples!

Glad you came through it. We’re all pulling for ya!

Since you got a new scar sounds like you need a new gun to go with it!

It's also what I thought you were talking about with your first sentence.

Hope the revovery goes well. Long scars in the belly are no fun. I had appendix out a couple years ago. It wasn't fun. Belly button down to top of pubic bone.

Anybody else's Kestrel slows down a bit when it get below 10°-15° ? Not complaining, if anything it's pretty damn impressive, my phone died from too cold, camera died , sig 2000 died, kestrel kept going strong 4-6 hours in 0-2° temps.

Good on you for getting out and about when it’s “fresh” outside. My Kestrel, Vectronix, and #2 lead pencil, hum right along when cold soaked. My phone, not so much.

Not my view, got home from work tonight, put drops in Pam's eye (she had cataract surgery last week), she says "why didn't you tell me how dirty the shower had got while I have been almost blind?" Managed to make a quick recovery and told her that she can now see without glasses but I can't, and I don't wear mine in the shower. Might have to look into surgery myself.
