Maggie’s What's Your View II

Well this is less than impressive, but I hauled this shit home this evening. Needs a scrubbing with a brush.

I like wood?

I would really like to see what you do with this. I am forever finding interesting stumps and blowdown at MIL farm. Not to mention the remains of her vendetta against cedar trees. Over 4,000 cut down in the last 6-7 years.

Got a new scar! Biliary duct/pancreatic duct bypass. After 17 stents since 2008 were installed, a doctor from the University of Minnesota said he pioneered the bypass and I was a perfect candidate.
6 hour operation cutting through scar tissue from first time of being opened up from gangrene infected gall stone( perpendicular scars were rubber band type sutures? To close me up).
16 days in the hospital over Xmas and New Years. I’m 5 weeks past surgery and just starting to get my strength and appetite back. All seems pretty dang good!
I gotta quit dragging my wife through this shit.View attachment 7228713

First thing that ran through my head when seeing this was....someone get this guy a fucking BLAST bandage.

I can't say much about cutting cedar. I have several cedar pieces. My future end table piece... I have a 3" thick live edge cedar slab 24" in diameter. SC tree.

This piece however, will get cleaned and sealed. No more cutting on this one

Can’t hit a “like” for this ?. Godspeed to the crew onboard.

Finally! Got'm and just got back from relocating 11 miles down the road. We've all heard about pets traveling across the States to find family, but if this little bastard shows back up in my shop, he ded!

This is going national lampoons, real quick.
He looks like a determined little fella and I bet he beat you back to the shop

The backyard bunnies were out of corn, so this A.M. a short run to the feed plant was in order.

Deep snow, had to put on the big feet.

It's been awhile (O.K., several years) since I trekked around on these things. Realized I missed the quiet serenity of show shoeing on a calm cold ND morning, not to mention the exercise will help the gut. Need to drag out the ski poles and figure out a better binding system. Not in my 20's anymore.
