Well that's great to hear....hard to keep track of our national elected let alone get so granular to keep eyes on state reps. I live in CA 2.0 aka FL....we are on the slippery slope.

For all of us red white and blue Pat's, if the thought of tucking ass and running from the inevitable fight that's coming over the horizon, ever crossed your mind, you dont deserve the freedom that you already have because a lot of our forefathers shed blood for those freedoms. The notion of giving up and running away is quite possibly the biggest bitch move one could do. You might as well leave your dick and balls at the door on your way out.

I'm not going anywhere as it won't happen in my life time. They are seeing the push back in VA, so they'll slow down for a bit. They will continue to indoctrinate children in the schools until even less people own guns (Yes, I know there is a lot of guns out there. However, they're in fewer hands than before). After a few generations most people will not want guns in the society and then they will be completely banned. Right now they will go after just a few for now, but they want it all. Remember it's for the children, think of the children. BTW my AR self identifies as my child

We need to fight back NOW and I do not mean by random shooting. We need to determine what is appropriate and effective now, tomorrow, next month, after November, when the SHTF, etc. Look at these points in time not as an "either-or" choice but as "all of the above".

It's a little more complicated. I have stated in my first post that I will be on the side of those who are willing to fight for the freedom in this country. However, if I look at what we failed to achieve in Afghanistan, I have to conclude that there is no point in nation building for people who do not actively display the motivation and resolve for maintaining a free, civilized nation.
IF the vocal AND silent majority in this country hands the reigns to the Socialists without serious resistance, then I have to accept that. Then, and only then, will the plan B of GTFOOH come into play, as stated in my first post. There is no moral justification for deciding with force how other societies should live against their will. In order to respect a person or a country, I have to respect its decisions.

BTW if you do move and renounce your citizenship you will have to pay for that. If you intend on keeping your citizenship you have to pay for that to in the form of income tax. They want your money anyway they can get it.

BS, LOL. Neither me or wife are born Americans as we both are first generation imports.
The USN birthed my citizenship because they needed something I had and I gladly accepted their offer.
My wife birthed her American citizenship through DoS with Government documents showing her last name was being hunted.
Having travelled, lived and worked all over this planet....the only way either of us are taking our last breathe outside of USA is if we die on vacation or work trip.

IF I had to choose, I'd say Poland or the Czech Rep.. I have one problem with the "move", my wife and I are on the .gov tit. I have 2ea. Fed. retirements and 1ea. State retirements. Wife has 1ea. of both also. Sooo...... we are living the "Socialist" life as we see it, now. Could live on Invest./savings, for 1.5-2 years, but after that, well, who knows. Like the OP, I used to live the outdoor life (dirt biked, off-roaded, shoot, hunt/fish, blah, blah), I'm 60, as yourself, no bills, except for a mortgage and everyday living/survival expenses. So sitting pretty well for two people with H.S. diplomas and some collage. We have both, worked hard and earned everything we ever got, and have no rich family, with large bank accounts, to worry about any inheritance gains.

I think, that the next 9 years is going to be the turning point for the U.S. of A. and if Trump d/n get another term, it will be the next 5 years ( the remainder of Trump's term + 4 years of a dim admin.).
I think a lot of people, of our generation, have had the same thought cross their mind.

America was a total break with almost 5000 years of human history, a country actually kick started about being free and not living under the rule of someone.
