For all of us red white and blue Pat's, if the thought of tucking ass and running from the inevitable fight that's coming over the horizon, ever crossed your mind, you dont deserve the freedom that you already have because a lot of our forefathers shed blood for those freedoms. The notion of giving up and running away is quite possibly the biggest bitch move one could do. You might as well leave your dick and balls at the door on your way out.

I'm not going anywhere as it won't happen in my life time. They are seeing the push back in VA, so they'll slow down for a bit. They will continue to indoctrinate children in the schools until even less people own guns (Yes, I know there is a lot of guns out there. However, they're in fewer hands than before). After a few generations most people will not want guns in the society and then they will be completely banned. Right now they will go after just a few for now, but they want it all. Remember it's for the children, think of the children. BTW my AR self identifies as my child

Please enlighten me about the future of American patriotism if there is no plan of action against its enemy.

The ramblings about "From my cold dead hands" and "Come get them, I am balls deep in the swamp" are not going to cut it. Dying some day on public TV as a 'domestic terrorist' is not going to stop the thugs from rounding up your brothers and more of our freedoms right now.
We need to fight back NOW and I do not mean by random shooting. We need to determine what is appropriate and effective now, tomorrow, next month, after November, when the SHTF, etc. Look at these points in time not as an "either-or" choice but as "all of the above".

It's a little more complicated. I have stated in my first post that I will be on the side of those who are willing to fight for the freedom in this country. However, if I look at what we failed to achieve in Afghanistan, I have to conclude that there is no point in nation building for people who do not actively display the motivation and resolve for maintaining a free, civilized nation.
IF the vocal AND silent majority in this country hands the reigns to the Socialists without serious resistance, then I have to accept that. Then, and only then, will the plan B of GTFOOH come into play, as stated in my first post. There is no moral justification for deciding with force how other societies should live against their will. In order to respect a person or a country, I have to respect its decisions.

BTW if you do move and renounce your citizenship you will have to pay for that. If you intend on keeping your citizenship you have to pay for that to in the form of income tax. They want your money anyway they can get it.

BS, LOL. Neither me or wife are born Americans as we both are first generation imports.
The USN birthed my citizenship because they needed something I had and I gladly accepted their offer.
My wife birthed her American citizenship through DoS with Government documents showing her last name was being hunted.
Having travelled, lived and worked all over this planet....the only way either of us are taking our last breathe outside of USA is if we die on vacation or work trip.

IF I had to choose, I'd say Poland or the Czech Rep.. I have one problem with the "move", my wife and I are on the .gov tit. I have 2ea. Fed. retirements and 1ea. State retirements. Wife has 1ea. of both also. Sooo...... we are living the "Socialist" life as we see it, now. Could live on Invest./savings, for 1.5-2 years, but after that, well, who knows. Like the OP, I used to live the outdoor life (dirt biked, off-roaded, shoot, hunt/fish, blah, blah), I'm 60, as yourself, no bills, except for a mortgage and everyday living/survival expenses. So sitting pretty well for two people with H.S. diplomas and some collage. We have both, worked hard and earned everything we ever got, and have no rich family, with large bank accounts, to worry about any inheritance gains.
I always thought living in Australia, would be a great place to go, but now, don't know. I guess you could put the World Map up on a wall and throw a dart and then take your chances??
I think, that the next 9 years is going to be the turning point for the U.S. of A. and if Trump d/n get another term, it will be the next 5 years ( the remainder of Trump's term + 4 years of a dim admin.).
I think a lot of people, of our generation, have had the same thought cross their mind.

Another ally we over look is the ghetto...its a fuckin disease and I hate it but most of the "brothas" hate cops. The ones they send for our shit will be enemies of the ghetto. That whole group of thugs may just be a great ally in that fight. Lets keep them on our side.

America was a total break with almost 5000 years of human history, a country actually kick started about being free and not living under the rule of someone. A lot of what the rest of the world take for granted today as far as "freedom" is actually thanks to the influence America has had on the world in the past 200 years.

My family are immigrants as in my mothers side got here at an unknown date but the first recorded family member died in in King and Queen County, Virginia in 1741 and my fathers side soon after aka the late 1700's in Pennsylvania. If they are able to take firearms away from Americans in the future and turn this into a total shit show my kids are able to have citizenship in their mothers native country. The problem with the progressive socialist here in the US is they want to out do everyone else in the world to be more socialist. It may work in smaller countries with an identity like Sweden or Germany before the migration, but there seeing problems now that they have invited other cultures to mix.
Socialism never works! It is always just the period of sliding into full blown communism. Chavez and Maduro called themselves socialists too. Socialism is just the name for the period during which they don't have total control yet, once they have it they drop that label and zip, boom, bang, voila another communist dictatorship. Too vested in my country and my community and Constitution to do so. I have ancestors that died making this place what it is and I'll die if I have to trying to preserve that. In fact, it says in black and white that forced, armed removal of members of government is NOT treason --it's more treasonous to allow it to go on.
Maybe it's time to form an opposition government. Using the same BOR and constitutional processes the current one is falling to do. We DO have this well within our rights.
