Why are we not talking about the devastation in Western NC, TN, and other places?

That's a problem

This angers me

During the peak of folks needing our church pantry during Rona, we ran a couple armed security guys during pantry hours.
For this reason

I guess Ashville, and hard to believe NC wouldnt have a couple guys there doing that.
All PD, and other LEO, are tied up. Extremely busy, and this was an out of the way area, could even have been people from a different area, who did the raid.

Power is on...in a flood zone...boil the fucking water
I was working a kids summer camp and they were disappointed that the fire and marshmallow roast wasn't going to happen because it rained all day. I took a few of the kids to the fire pit and taught them how to start a fire with a pocket knife, a cotton ball, hand sanitizer, a match and wet wood.
Survival skills for making a water filter and starting a fire should be taught. Waiting for the government?

Oh, we arent popo

Parishioners with an organized safety team.
One good guy who isnt a mall ninja surfing their phone is a good detractor to those planning stupidity.

"Asheville" isnt Candler
Or Swananoa
Or Canton
Or Clyde
Or Marshall
Or Burnsville
Or any of a dozen small WNC towns that wont let that keep happening.
I suspect it will get ugly.

The water.
I was looking at some footage.
They arent telling you the whole story.
There are water mains washed out everywhere along the hwy70 coridor from Black Mountain to Asheville.
It will take a major feat of engineering to get water to asheville.
Ashevilles water source is in Black Mountain.
Bill Forstchen didnt see this coming.
No water is coming from BeeTree for a month...or more. Thats my bet. Unless they are prepared to move heaven and earth.

It is honestly depressing. My cousin lost his house in Steinhatchee (am i the only one who has always called it Stein-a-hatchee?), and for all practical purposes his charter business is done. That is just one of the chances we knowingly take living on the coast. But who would think you needed hurricane insurance in Pigeon Forge?
I had seen the videos on YT right after the storm. It made me grateful for only losing power for 30hrs and 2 dead pine trees. Seriously my heart goes out to those still waiting to be rescued. It kinda pisses me off that the ILA did not put Country first, and delayed the strike u til after the relief efforts were done. The last thing they should hear is that parts needed to get them back up are sitting offshore.

Sad to hear… spent a lot of time in those hills back in 1980’s and early 1990’s. Salt of the earth folks there.

Though Asheville has turned into Sodom and Gomorrah in the last 30 years….

Can’t believe Chimney Rock is just gone… well mountain flooding is always fast and violent…. Sad day!

Keep safe all you good mountain folk! And rebuild!!!

Isn't Ashville the fictional location of the battle between angels and demons in the book This Present Darkness? Coincidence?

Been off here for bit but some might remember me. Working to put together a trailer of supplies from Houston at the weekend. Can anyone give a reliable collection point and contact for drop off? The guys doing the mule trains seem legit but don't want to overwhelm them as news will attract more support than they might be able to handle. TN preferred for proximity but is what it is. I'm kinda over giving money to charities and prefer to control my own destiny. Hate leaving mobile number but 832two083two29 if anyone has ideas. @armorpl8chikn @DarnYankeeUSMC nice to see you again

In addition to that, I have a BIL that works for a pipeline company out of Canton. Most water treatment stations are completely down as the electronics and electrical systems got flooded and fried. One of his crews have been standing hip deep in chest waders in raw sewage from a main that literally washed out of the road into the Pigeon river. Raw sewage going into the French Broad in Asheville also. There is raw sewage mixed in with the water supply in some places that still have water, etc. It's bad.

down stream effects of this storm will last for decades likely. the non or hostile response of fed and many state and local governments should make people aware that open war has been declared on the american people. ie parts of them anyway. it can't be any plainer that the destruction of american life and enslavement of it's people are the intentions. of course, only a fool would not have recognized that years ago.

Check into the Johnson City TN area, several churches, etc.. I've seen this on FB, search for Unicoi County TN, Erwin, TN, Greene Co. TN, Greenville, TN. Johnson City is 20 miles west or so from Erwin, TN, so getting to JC is safe via I-81 and I 26. I 26 goes from JC over to Erwin, and then on to Ashville, but you'll have trouble/issues as you get closer to Erwin. Parts of I 26 are gone in the Erwin TN area.

Yes, Ashville is not accessible from I-26.

so why is fema getting low on funds to help?

We've had "migrants" (illegal aliens) in this area on a large scale due to farming, construction, and landscaping for the last 25 years or more.

I wonder how many won't have insurance from here on out. I'm sure companies will pull out of the market.
Overwhelmingly the majority of this damage won't be covered, especially on the homeowners side. Very few people are likely to carry flood insurance unless they are in a flood plane and have a mortgage. Most will not have coverage for this damage.

I'm beginning to believe maybe they actually CAN manipulate the weather to their advantage. Esp if there actually IS lithium in this area. After reports of feds offering to buy people out for cash, confiscating donations, arresting people trying to help, somebody slashing tires of trucks bringing supplies (likely antifa), imported illegals looting... Add in the Maui fiasco and "wildfires" in the west that only burn houses and get hot enough to melt down vehicles to their base metals all the while leaving nearby trees etc untouched. (ETA: blue stuff untouched as well?) Evil is almost too nice a word.

For those who say boil water. I don't think you can just boil the diesel, antifreeze, and your neighbor's pesticide out of your drinking water. This is not a flood let's say at 14,000 in Paraguay. This is flood where every man-made substance since 1920 is now floating in the water. It would flush your turd. If your turd had somewhere to go. Drinking it is another story.

Oh look! Someone shamelessly posted a photo of a little flood victim with her puppy to take our minds off of the Ukraine and all of the billions of dollars sucked up by the little dancing faggot. Some people really have a lot of nerve.

Oh, silly me, the little dancing faggot didn't suck up those billions of dollars. That money was thrown at him with reckless abandon by our greedy politicians hoping to profit from it at the expense of American citizens like this.
