Very nice. I've been wanting someone to make that. Huge market to help get those matrix and vanquish to balance. If you make more or anything add me to a list. Would love to buy one.
Isn’t it sad that the actual chassis shops can’t just solve this? MPA, MDT, how hard can it be?

I don’t want to even hear about all the variables. Almost every Rimfire needs weight added, is it because they won’t sell overpriced weights? Seriously, at the very least Foundation is trying with the Sampson.

You’d think that one of the big shops would’ve made something…
My approach is very modular. Want more cantilever, slide the weight out. Want less, slide the weight in. Was going to add m-lok, but realized it didn’t need it.
I actually removed 3 bridges after adding the tuner back in.

Looks good. Why can these vendors just do the right thing? You did and they have all the resources and workers. Just stupid.

Yes. Exactly. The spigot on the matrix pro is ripe to extend forward with a weight. A number of folks have built custom versions.

The nose weight for the acc premier gen2 needs to be made in multiple weights increasing by 4 oz at a time.

Both so much better than external weights as they extend further forward and have a longer moment arm.

Someone solves either of those I am in line to buy both.

Josh uses my 22LR Match Eachus chamber
Or the Bentz, which is recommended.

I mean I dont know anyone having custom rimx barrels spun up with loose bentz chambers unless its specifically requested...

The couple barrels he sent me to test all had my chamber, not at my request...
That may very well be the case, but seeing as how Shootin25 alluded to the fact that he shoots whatever ammo is available, I would bet $20 on the Bentz.

And of course Josh would send you barrels with your own chamber.

Inferences must have been covered after contractions and apostrophes.

Very sad that people are still selling bentz chambers for precision rifles.

And will Bugholes do a chamber and a shouldered prefit? Or do I need to find a separate smith?
I asked SPR (Southern Precision Rifles, bugholes.com) two months ago about a MW prefit. Here's the meat of the reply:
"We're not fans of rimfire prefits - while prefits CAN work that's not a success ratio we're interested in. We have been very successful installing the barrel to the Rimx. We're charging $2100 with a MullerWorks barrel plus shipping and our normal leadtime is 6 months..."

So without having to read through this whole thread, if I wanted a Rimix Shouldered prefit, Mullerworks 25 straight, what are the options out there?

Patriot Valley Arms has RimX prefits available in 16 and 12 twist, although 12 is out of stock right now. Maybe @bohem Josh can fill you in if your heart wasn’t set on a MW.

This sport/hobby has become ridiculously expensive. At least with centerfire I can buy a premium chambered barrel for $800-$1000 and spin it on myself with great results.

It’s an Osprey barrel, correct, because they don’t state the barrel maker. I’ve looked there before.

Keystone offers Mullerworks I think, but I did not have a good experience with them at the beginning of my Rim-X journey. That ultimately pushed me back to my Vudoo’s which Bo still love but I need a longer heavier profile barrel. Or . . . . I just keep using my Arca weight.
