I loaded up a bunch of FC brass and wanted to find a load for BHA brass that was the same speed over the chrono.
Data is probably useless for anyone else, but I thought I would post it just so anyone new might see that you do have to check loads when you change brass.
168gr SMKs and Benchmark powder in all loads.
40.9gr in the FC brass got me an average of 2577 fps today, down from 2613 fps on a previous day that in different conditions.
In the BHA brass, average speeds were:
40.7gr - 2483
40.8gr - 2515
40.9gr - 2527
41.0gr - 2533
41.1gr - 2551
One could guess that 41.2gr would be a matching load but since I don't have actual data I'll stick with 41.1gr as close enough and then retest rounds from both batches in a few months when it's warmer to see if they've stayed this close.
