How and when to utilize abrasive bore cleaners

Do you have a preference re JB vs Rem 40-X? Also, have you used/tried Flitz Bore Cleaner and if so, any opinion?

I use both JB and 40x. Depends on what I feel/how many rounds on the barrel. I use the 40x every time during my hurry up cleaning method. My slow method is just bore solvent.

When I feel the bore is getting rough (lots of rounds on it) and or really tight feeling in the throat of the chamber area then I will use the JB.

Flitz... I want to say I used it a couple of times like 30+ years ago. I know one good gunsmith that uses it and says it won't wreck anything (don't use it with a brush!)
