😜 😂 😂 :ROFLMAO:

The last update said "shipping end of September." Well, we're technically in the end of September, and no further information has been forthcoming, which can only lead one to believe it is yet another failure to deliver. @Ingenuity1, or even @NICETRY (I realize it isn't your job, but you seem to have the inside scoop), how about leveling with us and tell us what the problems are, and what realistic expectations are? We all can understand the unforeseen problems that might occur in bringing a new product to market, but to be told over and over again that it will be shipping "next month" for nearly a year is wearing thin. It's time to be up front with all the potential customers who have, for so long, been holding on to their money waiting for this product when they could have purchased a competitor's product long ago and moved on. You still have us on your side for now, but for how long? TELL US what the problems are, and a realistic timeline to resolve them, then keep it UPDATED, and it will buy you a surprising amount of patience in the potential customer base. But to continue to make failed projections month-after-month for nearly a year is going to cause them to start jumping ship. At this point, having videos out there nine months ago proclaiming "It's finally here!", and two months ago, "Here it is, the final production version as it will ship!" is hurting more than helping.

I wonder if the exact same thing will happen again in November??

I'm feeling very good about my decision to buy a V3 AT to pair with my IP. I'm sure I'll enjoy it for a while :)
I did this out of curiosity because I forgot I have a V3 AT collecting dust. Was surprised how the IP performed. Not that I dislike my ST, but at least the V3 IP doesn’t feel like I’m starting an aircraft to use it.

I've been watching this thread hoping you guys start getting your IPTS because I'm way down the line, my order # is 29250. If you early order guys get your by the end of November dead line that means I might get mine in January or February .

Im just aiming to get my day 1 order in 2025 sometime. Starting to set realistic expectations.

Even *IF* he began shipping today....

On the FB page he said he "hopes to be able to assemble and ship 50 units per day" Hopes.

Even if he can do that, that's 3 solid weeks of workdays to get out the first 1000 orders. If you and your crew don't work 7-day weeks, it's 4 weeks for the first 1000.

And I'm here to tell you, I doubt he can ship 50 per day.

Figure it takes nominally an hour to piece everything together and box it up, label it, etc. Could vary based on experience, maturity, work ethic, intelligence of the assembler/packager. One of these dudes could do 12 per day. If I'm wrong and you can do the whole shebang - assembly, testing, packaging, labelling, record keeping - then 24 per day. So you need a crew of 2-4 competent people devoted just to shipping existing pre-orders to get out 50 per day.

Do the math on that, and if you're number 500 of the first wave of "pre-orders" you're still looking at 2025, unless Paul surprises us and has a crew of seasonal employees already lined up and waiting for this to begin. And imagine those guys, waiting to go to work full time shipping IPTS orders. Delay, delay, delay - now working for a Tyson chicken operation. Wanna start during T-giving? Now you're competing with all the holiday temp/surge workers as alluded to above.

I'm not holding my breath.

I just placed a pre-order. I don't mind waiting. I am just getting backing into shooting after a six year hiatus. I just built a custom rifle and worked up a load for it. My chargemaster, with reprogramming and the McDonalds straw hack, took 170 attempts to get 100 drops without overshoot. I started researching for options. It seems that there are issues with all the systems out there. I'm glad I didn't see this thread before I ordered! I appreciate the angst. But, heck, it's taken 7 months to get the components for my build and I am still waiting for a brake. I can use the ol' chargemaster a little longer....

Get a hand trickler stop your charge master early and hand trickle up to the weight you want while you wait. You won’t have as many over throws at least.

While you're waiting (I'm waiting too, BTW), you might try this with your ChargeMaster:

I took a clear straw and cut it long so it'd go all the way back to the inside of the ChargeMaster tube with a little bit hanging out the front. By having it go all the way back, how much or how fast the granules of powder are fed through the tube can be controlled by moving the straw in or out changing the gap that the powder can enter into the tube. Having some of the straw stick out the front, I can see if large amount is about to fall into the pan that'll result in an overthrow. But I would set it up so that doesn't happen and if anything, I set it up to underthrow a little, where I'll then lightly tap the straw to trickle up to the weight I'm after. It looks like this:

^ it is the constant fiddling and workarounds that has us all waiting anxiously for the IPTS

I am fortunate that another member sold me an AutoTrickler V2.75 to get me through the gap between my ATV4 and my ST both which required too much fiddling. I realized tonight that while I like the ATV2, It really is essential that all of the components be kind of held in an integrated contraption. I hope the IPTS satisfies this need, and requires little fiddling. When I go to my ATv2.75, I looked to see how far the plunger was screwed in or out from the last session and I just cringe if it’s in a position that I’m gonna have to fuck around with to get the bulk drop set up same with angling the trickler. and then I’m always worried about stretching the cords when I go to empty it. I know this seems like a petty first world problem, but it’s these little things that impede your workflow that really start nag you after a while.

We just really want something that you can set up easily and push one button and not have to fiddle with screws and tilts and straws and all of that stuff.

Seems easy I know, but apparently it is not at all

Fingers crossed for the new system

I've tried this too although I did not use that long of a straw. I'll try agin. Thx.

There's some different tips that people make too. A guy on here used to sell these brass or aluminum ones amd I got one and it did help the chargemaster a lot. Not sure if he's still here but I know you can find various ones on ebay.
