Night Vision PVS14 case

bought this several weeks ago from blade tech and it just arrived

anyone ever managed to get a PVS14 with mount in it? their description seems to indicate it is a tight fit, but unless i'm missing something big, it appears roughly 3/4" shorter than it needs to be for the triangle mount, and 1/2" too short for the on/off switch.

I've got a bladetec case for mine too. I'm using a Wilcox swing arm, and it won't fit in the case with it screwed on. I was told it would fit.....but I can't figure out how. What I do is unscrew the Wilcox arm, and it fits snugly in the corner on top of the PVS14. Works well, but I have to take the arm off every time.

We have ours custom made from them as well...(You would not have to have waited a few weeks, we have a couple hundred in stock. ;-)

Anyways, be sure to put in the case in the right direction. ;-) We've had some folks call about not fitting.

Go to REI or the gun shows. They have all kinds of cases and you can see what fits right there. Or order from Vic.

heh, ok Vic, I must have missed it on your website. I'll check with you after the holidays. would be cool to have a better case for the pvs27s i got from you as well. that case is a monster.

i did attempt to put the 14s in upside down the first time, but after looking at the picture realized my error, but it still wouldn't go in with the wilcox hardware.

on a tangent here, what is the purpose of the velcro(?) on the pinhole cover on the 14s in that picture?

It will fit with the j-arm attached, but the first 10 or so times are very tough to insert and remove, after that the case loosens up in my experience.

If you attach the fuzzy side to the optic housing, you can pin the cover to the side so it doesnt annoyingly dangle around...
