Haven't looked into anything SHOT related for KGM. But AFAIK, they were just stepping back from commercial/direct sales. They are still a huge OEM company. Unless something changed.

Below it in the pic is the new comp stock. I don't think it has a name yet. Seems like a centurion with upgrades.

Which is a perfectly fine opinion. Not every product has to do something incredibly different that other products.

No. There is no "technically" at all. The bore size on a .50 BMG is .500 and the lands are .510.

The language is very specific. Any bore over one half inch is a destructive device.

My post was mostly in regards to the stock on the bottom of your picture.

But in regards to the fiberglass one, I really think Foundation needs to find a way to lighten their fiberglass (and their lightweight micarta stocks) without those molded in pockets on the exterior. I can't stand it, aesthetically. Looks cheap.

But again, that's just me I know many will buy those stocks as well.

The only reason I would spend $2000 on a press is for automation. Good product though.

I was interested in what foundation was going for. If the stocks can take some sort of weight kit for their foreend, that's be great. Having an adjustable LOP system that starts off short would be great as well.

That's my guess as well.

I love my JAE chassis' - they are excellent, and were well ahead of their time. No plans to replace them.

However, many other chassis' have caught up to the JAE in recent times, and at a much more reasonable price. When pricing out current chassis' options today, the JAE is a hard sell at $2k+.

Hopefully at the new price more people gravitate towards the JAE. It's an excellent chassis. IMO, the best one out there (of course there's some subjectivity to this).

As someone who replaces touchscreens all the time on automated equipment. The fact that the screen will be easily replaceable by the user is a very nice touch that I would love to see more companies adopt. I don’t have that annealer yet but I’d go touchscreen with no hesitation.

What info are you looking for? AFAIK, it's the same they have listed on their website. The big things are the .50 cal suppressor and the Recoil Reduction suppressors (brake on muzzle of the can).

I suppose theoretically, the mild modularity of the press can eventually lead to the development of add on parts or upgrades.

For instance with my imagination, I can think of extended lengths guide rods and linkages for longer cases, larger die gantry for 1 1/4" dies, the shell holder system design is a sliding piece/slotted piece and there is enough space at the back (from what I can tell) to design a slide in micrometer adjust priming mechanism that utilizes something like a Lee folding primer tray and combine that with something like an FW Arms hold down die for very consistent priming.

I think it would also be fairly easy to have a flat insert for the shell holder area, and then a seating head with digital or analog force gauge where the dies go.

Make it an arbor type seating press with a force gauge.

I'm assuming almost all of the changes were mostly to help cut costs. I'd imagine they had to make a choice of either using the JAE mag adjustments in all of their chassis, or use the ACC Elite adjustments. So they cut down on SKU's they have to manufacture.

Haven't seen the bottom of the forend, but I'd imagine there is a provision for pic rail despite the arca.

It looks like for this of us with a lot of picatinny stuff will have to use a picatinny rail on an Arca clamp in cases like this.

Generally speaking, it's pretty hard to get approved to import a destructive device for any reason. There are other reasons than just agencies and such. But very limited. Usually something like R&D and such. If Cadex intended to sell something like this to US civilians, they'd need to set up shop inside the US.

14.5X114 was originally a Rooskie anti-tank round that became the KPV heavy machine gun after WWII. They were used primarily as AA guns (set up in a quad configuration). About 150% the energy of a M2. 1.5Mi is considered its effective range against armor and aircraft.

I would not have guessed this would be a "precision" round at all, but maybe there are piles of milsurp cases lying in the motherland?

Isn't 20mm and bigger considered a "destructive device" by Feds? For some reason that stuck in my mind, but maybe I'm making that up.

It's not made for peasants. It's made for militaries and it will most likely use modern rounds like a raufoss that already exist in the .50 but a bigger warhead for more payload. Strickly anti material unless there Is a target of opertunity.
