Yeah, and that looks pretty cool. Tolerances are tight. You can hear the cam over. Looks like it’s precision. I would buy it if I didn’t already have the German turban Pazzi press. Two of them.

No weapon mounted LRF? What are we in the stone age chucking rocks? They make me sick.

It's there. My guy mentioned its still micarta, with some coating. He'll chat up John-Kyle tomorrow and see if it's just painted or coated. or what.
Below it in the pic is the new comp stock. I don't think it has a name yet. Seems like a centurion with upgrades.

I use a label maker and make a new label for whatever brass I am using and stick on the top of the AMP.Yes, and because I used to be a retard, I had 3 different 375 case manufacturers, 4 different 50 BMG manufacturers, 2 different 260 brass (Peterson and Lapua), 4 different 338LM brass brands and so on - not to mention different lots of each brass. And each one has a different code that I have written down in my logbook. I used to have it labeled on tape on the top of the machine, but the list got too longView attachment 8331166
Thanks for the info! I could care less about the paint/coating honestly. Just happy they figured out how to get their micarta stocks lighter. I'd still get dark distressed. That said, that camo scheme looks good too.
Looking at it a little closer, I hope that is still a prototype. Seems like they could trim up the front of the forend a bit and get that rail more integral like the way Manners PH and Gunwerks stocks have gone. Keep some cleaner lines.
In the video, Mark indicates the press is a combination of steel and alloy. Any idea what parts are steel and what parts alloy? Is it mostly steel or aluminum? And from the video earlier, the shell holders and die lock has some room for floating/self centering. If someone is into that.
My guy said it's very smooth and pretty robust feeling. I'm pretty much interested for the size of it and the way the handle operates.
Not sure. The only feature that I'd like to have is saving the code but it's a 3 digit code so, not a big issue. It's cool but the older I get, the more I want things to be simple and and have less stuff to breakeveryone going to sell their AMP annealers!
Those Foundation stocks are made for people who can palm a basketball. I have never understood why stock/chassis manf put the grip front strap so very far from the trigger shoe. Manners is the same. It's there. My guy mentioned its still micarta, with some coating. He'll chat up John-Kyle tomorrow and see if it's just painted or coated. or what.

I know it’s probably not possible. But it would be nice if they could or would do the upgrade to the the older button to touch screen for a fee.everyone going to sell their AMP annealers!
Yeah that's a good point. I may run aztec on a few different lots I have at different firings and see if it's different. I'm not sure if one number off would matter in terms of the brass consistency though? This is something I'd overlooked as well. Not everyone is using the same cartridge or brass as often as a lot of us.
It may be something you did 6 month, 1yr, 5yrs ago. Good point.

Im actually amazed there isnt some sort of "electrical / pneumatic -> mechanical" upgrade to make presses do their thing via button.. much like the dillon auto's and the mark 10s. Why there isnt a very simple "auto press upgrade" for a single station turret press still baffles me.Someone make make a single stage press similar to the SAC, but pneumatically actuated with a foot pedal. Or electric, whatever. Hands free single stage.
seriously dude, generally non fools make money to spend things on this. So what you are saying is an oxymoron - fools dont have money. Think about it. If people want to spend what they earnt - why the chip on the shoulder - move on ..It's bullshit so who cares.
Benchrest and fclass guys are winning national and world championships with a dillion 750. All that co-axial zero runout perfection shit does not translate to better ammo. You can get essentially zero runout by floating the dies with a oring or float die that costs $11.
I'm sure they will sell a ton. Like the zero they are designed to remove money from fools.
You would be better off investing in automation.
I don’t know if I should curse you or thank you. Was looking for another low light mid range hunting optic for an AR10 and the S&B 3-18x42 Meta fits exactly what I was seeking (thanks). But had to increase the budget quite a bit (curseS&B apparently also came out with a 10-60x56 and a SFP 3-18x42. Yawn

I really can't see that weighing 32 oz if its one piece of micarta but my fingers are crossed! Thanks for the info! I could care less about the paint/coating honestly. Admitting is the first step on the path. And yes, I am a Fudd![]()
Anything new as far as self timing muzzle brakes? Or are those not cool enough to report on an get excited about?
How many more options do ya need at this point?
everyone going to sell their AMP annealers!
Granted I wish my AMP had this new logging capability I'm not upgrading personally. Takes me all of a minute to look through my book and find the code I need.

No clue if this is true or not, but Foundation reposted somebody’s instagram story that was a pic of it and it said Carbon stock with Micarta bedding block. The barrel channel looks black, so I’m betting this is the case.I really can't see that weighing 32 oz if it’s one piece of micarta but my fingers are crossed!
One of the TBAC RR suppressor options may suit that well. I forget which one but one of them supposedly reduces recoil of a 300WM by 65% which is up there with very effective muzzle brakes. I imagine because it still incorporates a suppressive element before the brake that it has relatively minimal concussion compared to actual muzzle brakes.More options that aren’t concussive AF to the shooter would be nice.
Just “because” of his bs post I ordered one…seriously dude, generally non fools make money to spend things on this. So what you are saying is an oxymoron - fools dont have money. Think about it. If people want to spend what they earnt - why the chip on the shoulder - move on ..

I’d check out the TS Customs ghost self timing brake optionsThat would be cool but two of the rifles I want brakes for the weight of the can will throw off the balance too much (already does it with my ultra 7) and I’ve been moving around too much in recent years to chance doing any form 4’s with how long they’re taking and I’ll be moving again in 10 months so that’s not an option. Otherwise I would have already bought a Dominus HUB and would probably buy one of those Magnus RR’s too.
I ordered a Hawkins brake to try out though, might get a couple more if they’re decent. Almost bought an Insite but unsure if it will work with the muzzle diameter of one of the rifles and I didn’t feel like spending $40 in shipping and waiting to clear customs to find out.
Hawkins Precision just posted a video on their IG and confirmed it’s Carbon Fiber with a Micarta bedding block. No clue if this is true or not, but Foundation reposted somebody’s instagram story that was a pic of it and it said Carbon stock with Micarta bedding block. I'd love to see them add to their Long Action lineup, (to include but not limited to) Coup de Grace inlet, Accurate DSSF bottom metal, and an "XL" addition to the line up.It's there. Yeah, they jacked up the Razor Gen3 List price $800 to $4799.99 now, but claim that it won’t affect street prices anywhere, yet you already see prices going up...Anything cool from Vortex?
What the fucking fuck? It's an 1800 optic and they know it.Yeah, they jacked up the Razor Gen3 List price $800 to $4799.99 now, but claim that it won’t affect street prices anywhere, yet you already see prices going up...![]()
Typical Vortex pricing structure. List it at x dollar amount but it really sells for y amount making the consumer think they getting a deal. You are a moron to pay MSRP on anything Vortex. The gen 3 Razor goes for 2k if not less with all the discounts, mil, first responders ect.Yeah, they jacked up the Razor Gen3 List price $800 to $4799.99 now, but claim that it won’t affect street prices anywhere, yet you already see prices going up...![]()
The G3 is more refined than the G1 or G2…I’d say $2,500 is fair civi street price for them. But anything more than that, and I’m looking in the German/Austrian section…What the fucking fuck? It's an 1800 optic and they know it.
So, um.....AMP has a contraption that goes between your rifle and the bipod. Ratchets the rifle straight up and down. They are gauging interest.
I'm gonna say this one might need to be put back in the basement in chains next to the gimp.
View attachment 8331420
That seems less than ideal. That would certainly get in the way and catch on shit sticking the rifle through props, and I can’t imagine it being fast or easy to adjust and looks like you’d ideally need a third hand to do it effectively. Not to mention raising the rifle with the same footprint width.
I’d rather just throw a lever or turn a knob with one hand to swap on a taller bipod with a wider footprint.
I’m sure lots of people would think they need it if they produce it though.

I've had stages where it would have been nice when you have the bipod set too low and need to take the time to raise it. But, we are talking like 10 times or less over many years. He actually mentions the same scenario in the video, where he was at GAP grind.
I like their products, but I think this one is a bit too far into the pet project area. But I'm sure someone will buy it.

Yea, these things are what you need *real* friends for. To tell you to leave that shit at home when you're packing for Shot.
