Socialism of its finest? Someone has to pay up for the “Scott @ liberty” help out.Yeah, they jacked up the Razor Gen3 List price $800 to $4799.99 now, but claim that it won’t affect street prices anywhere, yet you already see prices going up...![]()
So, um.....AMP has a contraption that goes between your rifle and the bipod. Ratchets the rifle straight up and down. They are gauging interest.
I'm gonna say this one might need to be put back in the basement in chains next to the gimp.

That seems less than ideal. That would certainly get in the way and catch on shit sticking the rifle through props, and I can’t imagine it being fast or easy to adjust and looks like you’d ideally need a third hand to do it effectively. Not to mention raising the rifle with the same footprint width.
I’d rather just throw a lever or turn a knob with one hand to swap on a taller bipod with a wider footprint.
I’m sure lots of people would think they need it if they produce it though.
I've had stages where it would have been nice when you have the bipod set too low and need to take the time to raise it. But, we are talking like 10 times or less over many years. He actually mentions the same scenario in the video, where he was at GAP grind.
I like their products, but I think this one is a bit too far into the pet project area. But I'm sure someone will buy it.
You know, that actually crossed my mind the other day, along with the possibility of that paying for all the turret fixes for the G2’s, sort of how the prices of their cheap scopes are so high to pay for the (minimum of 1) replacement when it fails. But, then my ADD kicked-in, and I went off chasing another squirrel, and didn’t think about it again.Socialism of its finest? Someone has to pay up for the “Scott @ liberty” help out.
My guess is ELR, a way to adjust the front of your rifle up without having to reduce the width of your bipod for better stability.
I wish they'd get the damn Ruger RPR trigger out there....Triggertech releasing new stuff? Did i see a glock trigger?
Hopefully TT just improves their reliability & durability.Triggertech releasing new stuff? Did i see a glock trigger?

Uhhhhh thats definitely not how bipods work. You run the legs out and the footprint gets WIDER. Do you even shoot?
Do you not understand how bipods like the Ckye-pod work to range from 4” to 15” of adjustment?
The ckye pod is dumb, but even when you pull those legs out that are on an angle the footprint is wider in the same position.
Regardless, even when comparing it to a design like that which no other bipod I'm aware of used you're still introducting tippyness on the same axis. Literally every other bipod gets wider when you extend the legs.
So now you've maxed out the leg length by extending them and your footprint as as wide as it can go. But you are still too short so you close up the footprint and the bipod gets taller. Just say you don't know how the bipod works and move on.The ckye pod is dumb, but even when you pull those legs out that are on an angle the footprint is wider in the same position.

cmp70306, This would be bad for ELR. You become less stable as you move higher on the apex point of your bipod legs. That's why the Ckye pod isn't meant for ELR and the bipods that are put the rifle much lower on the leg intersection point.
Bold claims (starting around 3 minutes 10 seconds) for the Velociradar being able to give true BC numbers due to using CHIRP rather than doppler.

They announced this thing a few years ago. I thought they'd never release it...but yes too late. Garmin just crushed everyone.Sounds like theyre too late, they missed out and Garmin ate their lunch.
If their claims are legitimate about the chronographs ability to measure and display true BC, it'll have its own niche in the chronograph market. I'm skeptical but I could be wrong.Sounds like theyre too late, they missed out and Garmin ate their lunch.

I spotted product pages for a few of these on Euro-optic and scopelist.
One in 350 legend specifically. Im guessing they finally noticed how much money exists in hunting rifles..with the new stuff they're offering.

Would have been awesome a year ago..when Bergara also had a gap in the 350 market, and the only thing available on the market was like digging through a trash can for the least filthy piece of trash.
Now Bergara already announced its new Stoke rifles, taking AICS mags too. Gonna be a tougher sell for the tikka, more money upfront for proprietary mags, non rem-700 action.

For the $2k to $2200 range the Razor Gen 3 is pretty much king and you can't get any better for the money.
But if they are smoking crack and thinking a list price of $4799 is anywhere near realistic they have a big surprise coming.
I have a Gen 3 and paid about $2k for it and it's great
For $4k I'm going with the S&B 5-45 or 10-60 or the ZCO 8-40 scopes.
S&B had a brief moment of clarity and reduced the prices of their scopes back down to realistic
But I'll bet they get greedy once they start selling again and want insane prices.
Single distributor in the USA doesn't help much either.
The Havak SLAM, MK4HD, and Manners new bedding system and stock are the only things I’ve seen this far that interest me.
We are on page 9 and not a single thing I’m tempted to buy or even desirous to fondle
So, don't leave us hanging. What did you buy?
My thoughts as well...was hoping someone would come out with another QC action so I'd be even more broke. We are on page 9 and not a single thing I’m tempted to buy or even desirous to fondle
I'd say you're the best person to start it. Your first post can be you bitching about how other people are bitching...Man I am just here trying to learn about the new products that could enhance my life. Instead I have to read a bunch of whining little bitches complaining about commercial supporters of this site. I mean hell, you have a gun smith from Ohio, complaining about a press, and how a lower price one would do the same job. Hell I have seen savages shoot just as well as the guns he has barreled. We should start a thread, called little bitches bitching about things they cant afford, or comprehend.
Now lets see what all the new products are and how they can help us.

Have at it. I’d have bit at 500-550. I’ll pass on 775.Fine.....I'll buy all the SAC Nexus Presses myself.
I don’t know about the other stuff, but I already spoke to John-Kyle about the CDG long action. They inlet for it just have to put it in the comments when you order. Probably going to catch up on the site after Shot if I had to guess.I'd love to see them add to their Long Action lineup, (to include but not limited to) Coup de Grace inlet, Accurate DSSF bottom metal, and an "XL" addition to the line up.
Bascially a +2" fore end, all else the same, to make use with a 30+ inch barrel look not quite so stupid and be able to get the bipod out front a little further without expensive, bulky add-ons.
man I gotta figure out this patent thing. I made one 3 years ago. fucker
I wish they'd get the damn Ruger RPR trigger out there....
It's just like how every couple months I'll see a Federal video about a new varmint load or that 30 super carry nonsense. Just give me primers and 12ga birdshot. Stop trying to make new stuff.its infuriating when these companies try so hard to come up with new dumb shit when they cant even keep their basic shit in stock. its probably great problem to have as a manufacturer but as a consumer it royally pisses me off when you cant even get basic mags or bottom metals
