Does anyone know where I can get a stock extension for the T1x MTR? I see there are some available for the T3X compact rifles but I have not yet been able to locate one for the T1X. The length of pull is much too short, I would probably like 2” of spacers to lengthen it up.
Yikes…can’t believe I didn’t find those. Thank you for the quick reply.Butt Spacer, Straight (incl. 2 spacers and long screws)

Good. Have had the rifle a couple years. Scope is new so I needed to sight in and record data. very fun rig. How’s she shoot?
what ammo does it like the best?Good. Have had the rifle a couple years. Scope is new so I needed to sight in and record data. very fun rig.
I put the T3x Compact pad on my T1x. A bit longer length of pull and I fit perfectly.Does anyone know where I can get a stock extension for the T1x MTR? there's IBI and Lothar Walther drop in barrels........I was hoping to see a 24" barrel, but seems like unless you go custom, you just can't get one....What are some of you running for aftermarket barrels? I finally picked up a T1x and slowly getting some components together. Just ordered a Timney for it.
What do you gain with a longer barrel other than weight?there's IBI and Lothar Walther drop in barrels........I was hoping to see a 24" barrel, but seems like unless you go custom, you just can't get one....
accuracy mostly.... but also makes use of a tuner much more beneficialWhat do you gain with a longer barrel other than weight?
I guess I'm unsure what barrel length has to do with accuracy, unless rimfires act differently than centerfires.accuracy mostly.... but also makes use of a tuner much more beneficial
Looks like a good time! I agree with huntnh that the barrel tuner looks great. I also found on Saturday that SK Standard + shot the best out of my T1X, 5 five round groups between 1/2 and .65 MOA at 50 yards (laying down in my truck bed). Haven't shot it out farther than that yet.Hello, I'm happy to share with you my achievements. I've got a tikka t1x that I bought to make precision rifle matches here in Italy, but I was unhappy with trigger, stock and lever. So I ordered a lever from stork in Australia, a timney trigger and a krg stock that is on his way. So my rifle jumped into open category.
I decided to go for the highest accuracy possible at a reasonable for me price and I ordered sk long range match ammo, but I know I could do better.
So I had a barrel tuner built under my specification by Maurizio Battaglino here near the city in which I live in Italy.
There are 2 principles that I know about barrel tuning, the vibration dumpening and the barrel length tuning.
This second one seems to me and from my experience with 308 and 338 the most reliable.
Today I tried the barrel tuner with sk standard and these are the results at 100 meters.
In positions around 12 there are no flyers and I'm really confident about where the bullets will go.
I tried to shoot at 200 meters and I felt really confident again. It was an amazing feeling.
I'm waiting for the stock and I will do the same with the ammo I will use in the matches.
I'm not sure I will post again, I'm not a big talker, but I thought I had to share some info since I really read a lot, so it's like a sort of giving back.
Have a great day all of you.
i mean....have you seen a competitive rimfire benchrest gun with a barrel shorter than 24"?I guess I'm unsure what barrel length has to do with accuracy, unless rimfires act differently than centerfires.
Never paid any attention to competitive rimfire benchrest...i mean....have you seen a competitive rimfire benchrest gun with a barrel shorter than 24"?
FYI for anyone reading, these butt spacers do NOT fit the T1X. Got mine in last night and I am sending them back to Beretta today.Butt Spacer, Straight (incl. 2 spacers and long screws)

My question still stands, though. What is different with rimfire vs centerfire that makes a longer barrel more accurate?
What chassis is that?Just need to get my strike eagle mounted then get to the range to do some testing! Hopefully I’ll be prepared enough for my first NRL22X match in a couple weeks!
One of my own design; will be available Q4 of this year. Will work with adjustable AR stocks and will have our own folding stock coming out next year. Shoot me a PM if you want more info. What chassis is that?
Looking for something lightweight that will adjust very short for gaggle of grandkids of various sizes.
Made by who?
Not a table. Poly tank. Used for all sorts of liquids. It's the next size up from a 55 gallon drum. 275 or 330 gallon sizes or so.That looks like a land mine on the table!
Mike
I can't do the shape of that, wrecks the lines of the gun imho

Lol I think the 'lines' of the gun were long gone considering the bright blue chassis replaced the stock.I can't do the shape of that, wrecks the lines of the gun imho
You’ve obviously never used one, the Sterk handle is about the best upgrade for the tikka out there.I can't do the shape of that, wrecks the lines of the gun imho
That's your opinionYou’ve obviously never used one, the Sterk handle is about the best upgrade for the tikka out there.
That is correct, but also one shared by most people who have used it.That's your opinion
I have nothing better to do while waiting on the A/C guy to fix some geothermal problems and I'm waiting on hold with Beretta USA right now to ask the same question.Anybody have the left handed 22 on back order or heard any news on them?
I've had one on order for seven months here in NZ.Anybody have the left handed 22 on back order or heard any news on them?
Your second paragraph is what I heard when asking Europtic back in February.I've had one on order for seven months here in NZ.
Gun shop was told they should be arriving in early 2021, but they've heard nothing.
They know Beretta have had a couple of Tikka shipments land in this time, but nothing yet. Even the folks at Beretta locally say they don't have any info from Finland about when they'll be available.
