Maggie’s What's Your View II

Eldest Son and I went up the mountain last night and seen Deer, Elk, Rabbits, and a Blue Grouse. Not one damn Bear. Must be destined for a 500+ pounder.
Beautiful evening up there again. And you can actually see further than 50 yards.

That’s much better air! Great pics by the way, better than imgur? You know the general rule amigo.....98% hunting with 2% trigger time and a now and again luckyout of the gate?

House is good. I'm up higher as well. Driveway goes across a small creek that turns into a big one when the runoff from the hills gather in it.
Those are last years and I think one of the year before. Nope, I'm elevated enough that like @Geno C. , if it reaches me we got big big problems. ;)

Well then with that said.....are they biting?

Go get a pair of firefighter gloves. Not cheap. Go about 2/3 yo your forearm. Perfect for anything bbq or firepit related.

Lots of models. I got the longer ones when I was a hose monkey due to ease of donning with crappy fitting gear.

The dexterity is so nice with many tasks. Much better than all leather welding guanlets.

I will look into it, the point was more that a item that is suppose to keep me from getting burned could not handle a clothes drier. As my wife said, " there is no way the drier gets as hot as the grill/oven"
just seems like one of those What in the Fuck moments in life.
