Haha, I live in Woodinville (when I'm not in a hotel room....like now). I know WWCo quite well. They also have a Vodka that's pretty damned skippy. Just wish they would have named it something other than "Peabody Jones"....a millenial cucks idea of trying to be "hip". But, in spite of the name, it's pretty good.

Funeral Pyre for our 14 year old cat that died. I wouldn't mind if they did this for me when I died. Big fire, stand around drinking beer telling stories, well in this case stories about a cat, but good times good sendoff. I'm glad the cat never came to on life 8 and shot skyward out of the flames!
I did the same for ours of 17 years a few years ago. Buried his ashes under a big near perfect cube shaped rock and planted some flowers around it. I still stop and talk to him every now and then.
Just read up on that place, looks like it has made it to the list of places to visit. Just hope the wife has agreed to try driving in the US before we get there.

There are over 100 ("boutique") wineries in the same area. If you're going to wine, I highly suggest Matthews Cellars. They specialize in reds and their Claret is to die for. They're not cheap, but well worth it. There are also transportation companies that will run you from winery to winery on their "short busses". Keeps the cops at bay and you from getting a DWI.

I had an 18 year old cat die in my lap in 2012........put a 16 year old one down in 2017..........after almost 3 years of twice a day insulin shots..........we love the cats...........

His "dad" is in jail.
His mom is working her ass off to stay afloat, and I've been helping her with some things here and there. I think we're going to make it.
Mason is a little guy, and the doctors say he's not growing quickly enough. They say it with him sitting there.
Mason has some speech issues and the grown ups argue about whether or not he needs therapy for that. They argue like he's not there.
Mason has been sick a lot lately because they were living in a shitty house with mold issues. That's been remedied.
Mason wet the bed the other night and grandma yelled and cursed at him for it. She's an asshole, but it's free childcare while mom works.
I gave Mason's mom a computer so she could look for better jobs, submit applications, and learn some basic office skills.
She sent me this the other night. None of that other stuff is on Mason's mind at this moment.
I could have sold that computer, but I never would have felt as rich as I did when I saw this.
He's watching dinosaur videos and he's just being a kid. He's just being Mason.
When the weather gets right, Mason and I are going fishing in Tucker's pond. That's a promise he smiled about.

I turn and give him the oh really treatment.
"I got up and went potty two times last night!"
She adds, " and a dry diaper this morning!"
Put the fist out and said, "Pound it, big boy!"
He gives me the bump with a big old smile on his face. Made my day!

I think if we look around on this site, you will find that random acts of kindness like Tucker’s aren’t that uncommon. I know Tnichols helped a local church cut up a tree. I paid off the outstanding balance for a kindergartner’s lunch bill for the semester, anonymously. I am sure there are dozens more and the only reward we are looking for is the good feeling you get from paying it forward from some good deed someone did years ago. I encourage everyone to do what they can when they can and enjoy the reward.

I told my wife that helping this young family is all I want for Christmas. It gives me great joy to help in these small ways. My brother says sometimes people's prayers are answered when they didn't even realize they were praying.
Mason has a Christmas party tomorrow at the church daycare that he is at part time. Mom will help with that.
After that she's agreed to "help" me upgrade a customer's laptop.
She'll get some hands on experience and knowledge and I'll give her a share of the bill.
I'm nudging her into looking at the kinds of technical work that pay good money for a little bit of skill and knowledge.
It should be eye opening to make what would be a night's pay in the bar in about an hour.

The other day I saw the news story about a husband and wife who adopted 7 kids (all siblings) at once so they could keep the kids together.
Didn't mention why they needed adopted and I am sure it was something terrible.
Friggin lost it. Some gal saw me at my desk with tears and asked why. Then all the women got teary eyed.
