For those looking for a 8.6 Blackout shotgun, ....just load up high velocity lead bullets in the Faxon 3 twist AR 10.
Inside, one could shoot down the hall and cover both walls from ceiling to floor.
Loaded on purpose and fun to shoot.
This was a Faxon original listed 8.6 load finally taken off their sight, after many months, and customer complaints including me, it was finally taken down...the first recommended load blew a primer and destroyed the muzzle beake and magnetospeed bayonet.
So I loaded them down a bit too observe the shotgun effect of the 3 twist, on purpose, without a muzzle device.
Here is a large cardboard box with muzzle pointed to the center of the inside of the box from 2 feet.
The bullet comes apart as soon as it leaves the confines of the bore. Turns into copper shrapnel and lead dust.
Notice sold the bullets explodes and hits on the inside of the box and copper shrapnel hitting the outside at the same time.
A very wide unpredictable pattern.
There is lead dust in the air, probably not healthy to shoot a bunch of them in still air.
BE SURE TO REMOVE muzzle devices if you try this....squirrels at 5 yards?
