Not really surprising, it's pretty clear that Sako/Tikka is totally out of touch with, or they simply don't care, what really goes for PRS competition guns here (20+lbs, 6oz triggers, strait profile super heavy barrels) basically everything you can do to min shooter mistakes.

Watching new options come out that allow things my old (expensive) stuff didn’t is no fun, but it is better for the new purchaser.
I like folders for fitting in shorter cases. My HNT26 gained 4oz with the folder and ARCA rail.
I’m probably going to invest in this system. Unless KRG drops something wild and modular but I doubt it. LSS gen 3 it is!
I will certainly play around with it, now that I have “accidentally” ended up with another T3X that can be speced for some as yet to be determined purpose.

I’m a chronic who is far deeper down the rabbit hole than that.
I have several roles to fill with that rifle. Saving 4 oz is not the top priority for me. I could skip a meal and save that weight a lot easier.
Man, for me, the folder is mainly to make it easier to clean the thing. Some chassis, even if you remove the cheekpiece, still rub/block a cleaning rod’s handle.

No one is shooting MOA for precision rifle anymore. Unless it’s the guys in their 50s-60s shooting bench rest or F class. FFP, MIL based scopes are the only way forward.
I have to fold the stock on my AI to get it in the safe. It's easier/cheaper to do that than explain where another safe came from to the wife.

For the scope mount yeah. The lrf is gonna be 10k and it's never been done before because the average consumer hasn't seen a raptar, mars, or storm
no way - the LRF is a senseless product if the consumer version isn't close to or under the impact 4k cost. Magpul is no wilcox - they cannot command a 5k+ price tag for the LRF.

I would love this to be true but the impact 4k is at a low price point and kinda sucks imo
not to detract - but what sucks about it other than geoballistcs and no AB interface? I rarely see many complaints. I'm only holding out because =my entire ecosystem of solution is AB (and its going to stay that way)
Constant loss of zero, the remote button not waking up the device, and any fine debris or dust on the lens causes it to instantly go down. Otherwise a good device from my usage
It will be interesting to see what specs they release for the maztech civ, the envision mars mc sits around $6.5k for a ~905nm, Class 1M. The trend for the bino lrfs has also been cutting down on the power like the kilo10k gen 2 and vector x being weaker. Theres reviews up that the vector x struggles beyond 1800 yards. I won't know that for sure though until I get a pair to compare to kilo 10k gen 1.

My wife and I both have Sordin Supreme Pro-X muffs. They are incredible. Wore mine on a quail hunt last week. I could clearly hear the dog panting, birds on the wing, and normal conversation and detect which direction it came from. Shotgun reports were muffled booms, as if they were 80 yards away instead of 30 inches from my ear. Had them over 4 years now, and still on the first batteries I installed.
