I tried that initially but had excessive pressure. I think StaBALL is too slow burning for that case size.i also read in PRECISION RILE SHOOTER magazine that they have gotten good results with Winchester 6.5 Staball, 100-150 fps faster
All of them have had good results. I'd grab varget first, but if you have more 4350 that'll do just fine as well.Using 107 SMK, which powders have has gotten good results. I have a bit of Varget left, plenty H4350 and Staball. I'm prepping up some cases now and want to load them up today.

I'd start somewhere in the 33 gr range for varget and maybe in the 34 range for 4350.Got 2 8lb h4350s, maybe 8 1lb vargets...
On a gap cut chamber, using the h4350 any starting grains? Gonna use the hornady brass I first got. Have alpha now as well, but I'll start with hornady.
Thanks
Those are top end values, I would DEFINITELY NOT start there.
StaBall seems to work better for the heavies like the 115gr Nosler or DTAC

33 gr of varget is where i am at . Not going to move from there, I am at 2875 FPS average ,I'd start somewhere in the 33 gr range for varget and maybe in the 34 range for 4350.

is it a 236 or 237 barrelJust got 400 Berger hybrid 109’s and my rifle just showed up to my FFL yesterday!!!!!!!!! Gonna do a lot of testing
Don't do a lot of testing. Just pick a speed and shoot it. 6GT is extremely easy to load for. Spend your time shooting, not load developing.Just got 400 Berger hybrid 109’s and my rifle just showed up to my FFL yesterday!!!!!!!!! Gonna do a lot of testing
That is why I am staying at33 gr.Don't do a lot of testing. Just pick a speed and shoot it. 6GT is extremely easy to load for. Spend your time shooting, not load developing.
Personally, no.Did you guys do any seating Depth testing, just a heads up this is my first PRS gun
That’s pretty misleading. I can’t speak for the other matches, but at the Pigg River match, there were only 3 gas gun shooters.
Are you sure? I would double check that data. 37.1 gr of H4350 has 109s going 3005 fps. 44.1 feels like it would spill out of the case.Hodgdon lists 44.1 as starting for H4350 and Sierra 107's, ending up going with 44.5 Grains to get a feel for the Gay Tiger!
COL 2.530, CCI 400 Primers, Hornady Brass

There's no competition in the Gas Gun division.
I just ran my match this past weekend, a PRS Pro Series Qualifier. I had multiples in every Classification and Division, but not a single Gas Gun shooter. Wasted $200 on the trophy..
You'd probably have better luck posting in the semi auto section.I don’t know shit about PRS gas guns. I know a few guys back east running their rifles and liking them.
I was really asking if anyone else is running a SgtofArms gasser, and how they like it.
The Second picture has a much better group
Very good ,that is what I am looking for exactly that ,but in the 105’Good break in load for 108ELDM 33.5 Varget, CCI 450, 30 off, Hornady brass, 7.5 twist Bartlein @ 26"
.Straight up .308 everything.
Conversion kit, case feeder plate... everything.
Edit; Except for the powder funnel as noted by the poster below. I use my 6 Creedmoor powder funnel.
which one is it , or are they the same funnel?308 base with a 6 PPC funnel
Would you happen to have a picture of how it looks , by any chanceThe base is 308. The powder funnel is 6PPC.
There is no “6GT” conversion kit.
Well have never owed one ,so that is why I am asking questions and try to get all the information I can possibly getI have 550 RL.
it looks like any other Dillon set up.
Use the 308 base for the case head, drop the PPC funnel in the powder die and adjust the die to fully dispense when the ram is up.
I’m not sure how this could be remotely complicated.
Thank you very muchI'll get some photos or video when I get home tonight.
Here you go. This is how mine is set up.
