Wait so Russia has tried incompetently to massacre Ukrainian civilians since the start and even the UN reckons they've only killed like 10k in 2 years, yet Ukraine kills 54k per year with air pollution?
By destroying power infrastructure, Russia inadvertently saves like 50k people per year, someone should nominate them for a peace prize.

i am not sure if it is more aggressive tactics by russians or a collapse of the defenses.
Seems to be combo of the two. Reports are saying the Russians intend to take more ground to put more space between their infrastructure and the missiles being supplied. And the Ukes are definitely falling apart, so Putins strategy of attrition on the Uke side is now yielding results. Ukraine is drawing a lot of parallels to German forces during 1944 on the eastern front.
They have plenty of divisions but the divisional slice has been diminished, mechanised units are mechanised on paper only, units have been in constant fighting for more than twelve months. They are no longer fully training nor integrating new troops so casualties are higher and capabilities are reduced.
With good equipment, decent Ukrainian units would probably win small manoeuvre battles but the front has hardened into a more oppressive form of park-front with 24/7 hour surveillance.
Well it seems they are trying to work out some scheme that would prevent next US president or two from pulling aid from Ukraine

You can extend that to almost everything using GPS. This document makes sense if the DJI other drones from China/other countries being used by the Ukes are using Beidou (China) or GLONASS (Russian) for navigation. GPS-denied environments are real.

I guess the Krasnopol, guided by a laser from an Orlan30 drone doesn't have that problem. This tank was moving, albeit slowly, when it got cornholed.
The most interesting part is the third sentence in the article:

The shortest distance from North Korea to Kherson is about 6600 kilometers. According to google, the Hwasong-11 has a range of about 800 kilometers.

If that would have happened on 4/3/1949, we might not be as deep in the debt hole, as we are now.
Civilian GPS is far more affected than military hardware , the problem with much of military gear is that it was developed for 20y of GWOT no EW in Afghanistan, Somalia or Iraq.
