I do not know how much military impact will NK have for the Russian side, but NK soldiers will be comfortable being there. When I was still living in the USSR (Moscow), I did not see a lot of "russian" koreans there, but somehow, they were present everywhere, although in relatively small numbers. A lot more of them are known to live in Southern Russia and in the Far East (Siberia). Generally speaking, "russian" koreans did not have a bad reputation and were mostly valued for their work in agriculture. And they speak both Russian and Korean, which may help with accomodation of NK military personnel and workers in Russia, if necessary.

SK isn't going to be able to fight a war with NK by themselves for like any length of time without the USA pretty much doing all the important stuff.
